    Livernois (LMS) Stage 4

Made it to Mexico and pulled a 1/4mi run. Not bad considering the temp and DA. Softer launch at 2,500 RPM this time, but happy with the 60' time. This thing just moves. Shifting was buttery smooth. 12.49 @ 109mph Whipple, K&N, and LMS Stg4 are the mods.

    levels performance cooler

no, because if you are upgrading intercoolers then it means you aren’t driving easy! Really though, I have never heard of this. Source? I could see the charge air possibly condensing in very hot weather, but can’t imagine it would be much.

Welcome to the Explorer ST Forum, please post an introduction

welcome! you do not NEED to tune the car for any mods, but it will help you get the most out of any mod. Conversely you can get a tune without any mods and you will see some significant power improvements across the RPM range.

    Livernois (LMS) Stage 4

P-Gear P610S used for timing. 1ft rollout enabled as I understand Draggy has this set by default. Great conditions, 80°F and low humidity 2021 Explorer ST 1/2 tank of 93 gas (Marathon) Factory 21" wheels and tires Nothing removed for weight reduction pretty crappy road, although the ST did...

ZFG: I guess I'm a fanboy now too

Look at the rear diff on your ST. I have a 2021 but have two bolts/isolators connecting the rear diff to the subframe. The passenger side one looks to be torqued to about 5,000 ft-lb though. Some 2021 models only have 1. Not sure about the 2020 models.

ZFG: I guess I'm a fanboy now too

I'm in the same boat as you. I just ordered the new HP Tuners MPVI2+ this morning and will be getting rid of my LMS and going with ZFG.

    Grinding noise from steering wheel

no. Have you checked your power steering fluid? Could be the rotor or vanes in the power steering pump have been damaged somehow. I'd look for particles in the fluid. Def a trip to the dealer for inspection though. Good luck!

Need advice on missing interior components before buying

You aren’t missing anything. Look at the inside edges of the open cubbies. The piece on the inboard side will slide up, then rotate it to sit flat on top of the cubbie. Regarding the floor mat, my new 21 did not come with one. I bought a Weathertech. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Wrapped up the Whipple IC install yesterday. Also changed the oil and installed UPR drain plug. Flashing tune this morning. Might do the Thermal exhaust next just to get rid of the ridiculous rattle from the factory flex sections!

It would really depend on how many times you stop and for how long you are at idle.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Going to be a long night! Installing Whipple IC, NGK 95605 plugs, changing oil and will install UPR drain plug. Tune file should be back soon, fun times! My wife is going to ask why the bumper is off of a new car I just bought 3 weeks ago. She was along for the ride 20yrs ago when I had my...

Ford Performance Parts for 2020 Explorer ST

I would be very surprised if Ford did release a Performance Tune for the ST. The intercooler is grossly undersized and will severely limit how much Ford can extract from the platform. The heat soak will lead to the ECU pulling timing back. Echo what Blown F-150 said, if they do release one it...
