    Recall: #24S55 ENGINE VALVE INSPECTION

According to the build dates I’m a few months after the October 2021 cutoff. Hoping it stays that way and they don’t extend it to 2022 build dates. I’ve beat on mine quite a bit so I’m hoping I’m good. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    2022 Tires Worn Already?

Doubt a few psi would make huge difference. Many moons ago I went with 5-8 over door sticker and tires were toast at 15k with plenty of tread on the outside but almost bald in the middle. Just my experience. Quick search found this blog on inflating tires...

    Quality issues

I almost didn’t buy my ST because the assembly plant was a longtime customer of my business. You would not believe the crap that goes on there. I feel very lucky that I was fortunate to get an ST without issues…so far. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    2022 Tires Worn Already?

IMO All overinflating will do is start wearing the center of the tread more than the outside unless you are loading them close to max capacity. In my young and stupid years I wore out a set (just the middle of tread[emoji23]) in very short order. Underinflating will wear the outsides of the...

    Engine Oil Level Low Disabled?

I’m not sure we even have an oil level sensor. In fact I always thought that was a diesel engine thing and maybe a high end car thing. All my diesels had one but I don’t think I’ve ever had a gas car with an oil level sensor. Perhaps others will come in. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    2022 Tires Worn Already?

Good luck! My guess is they will tell you that you should have rotated your tires unfortunately unless the wear is excessive to the mileage. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    2022 Tires Worn Already?

Don’t disagree with that. I suspect if it got too far the wheel speed sensors would make the computer complain and possible throw a code. Definitely if the difference is too big it can lead to wear in the drivetrain. Wondering what 2/16ths would add to the circumference. My 40 year old math...

    2022 Tires Worn Already?

Agree but if he’s been driving ok before the rotation, he should be ok after imo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    2022 Tires Worn Already?

When the tread gets close to the wear bars. In between the tread are some bars between the tread. If the treat is getting close to the wear bars, 1mm or so, then it’s time to replace. Some tires get sketchy before they hit the wear bars too. I think you have enough tread for a while. Check the...

    2022 Tires Worn Already?

No but you should rotate them every 8-10k miles for optimum even wear. In normal driving the rears do most of the work hence the higher wear on the rears. The new rears will catch up to the wear in about 18k miles,especially[emoji23] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Transmission proper fluid level

Just an fyi, many of us change trans fluid every 30k as cheap insurance. Burnt or dirty fluid can really screw up a transmission. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Transmission proper fluid level

This. I prefer the high end of the dipstick. Iirc 3 is the high of the range. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Downpipes

This. If it’s the only change you should be gtg unless you are in search of every little bit. My butt dyno felt a nice little bump when I put my DPs on. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Took the ZFG plunge

I agree with all you said. I love mine. However, there is no denying sometimes it takes a bit to hear back from Adam. Everything has been a couple business days for me but others have waited longer. I still recommend him however. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Rear End Failure

Forever fluid is never a good thing! Cheap insurance to keep things running good imo. I’ve seen plenty of ugly fluids. Worst are usually brake fluid and power steering fluid and CVT fluid. Most people never change them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Sorry to hear. Explorer is not a concern right now! Sad to hear about your brother. God speed to him and best of luck with a quick and full recovery! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New Parts Arrived....

Major bummer and unacceptable imo. Would expect them to make it right. Mine came in two boxes front and rears including rotors. Heavy as shit! Mine arrived in excellent shape front and rear side of caliper. Good luck. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    When filling the tank up

Yes you can update sync with a tune. I strongly recommend the download to usb stick method. The over the air updates through the menu and WiFi is hit or miss. You might get lucky and it works. You might get unlucky and it screws up bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
