    Catch Can Contents

That’s a great idea imo! You should not feel any significant positive pressure with the cap off. Might have somebody rev the engine while you monitor. Bad sign if you can feel anything blowing out of the lid. Your mileage is still pretty low but you might try a crankcase cleaner. Might have...

Looking for 500hp, what’s the best plan 2023 ST 3000 miles

Yeah, one downside is he is busy. Sounds like you did plenty of logging for the tune. He may be focused on the engine more than trans. He may have a different set of PIDs to log for transmission. I would reach out to him and specifically mention the shifting and see if he wants to log something...

    Good clean humor and jokes

Brings back memories[emoji23] I had a 12 channel EQ amp installed in my 68 Mustang as a teen. Had like 1000 watts power at 25% distortion. But it got good and loud[emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looking for 500hp, what’s the best plan 2023 ST 3000 miles

Yeah sounds like something isn’t right. The subframe bushings definitely firmed up the ride but don’t think it would affect shifting. Have you done any data logging? Pretty sure Adam would be able to see what’s going on with the shifting. Maybe try resetting the adaptive learning? Sent from...

Agree on those numbers. Have to voice an alternative ZFG opinion. The shifting is way better on mine and in Sport mode the shifts are nice and firm. Don’t know which I am happier with, the added power or the way better shifting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Dangerous?

Don’t feel too bad. In a hurry and beers might have been involved but I once used an impact wrench to remove the nut on a strut. Problem is I forgot to put the spring compressor on[emoji23]. Luckily the nut just shot into the drywall ceiling and not somebody’s skull. Never made that mistake...

    Street Pack Brakes Upgrade

Wow. Guess I never tried the two man on my ST. I use either a vacuum bleeder or a motive power bleeder now that I got a spare brake reservoir cover to it work. Only pump the brake after I’m done. Good to know though. Really surprised the pump has power with key off. Then again my ST makes all...

    Street Pack Brakes Upgrade

Nothing special needed to bleed the brakes. Can use the two man method or a cheap HF vacuum bleeder. Just don’t let the reservoir run dry. You can’t bleed inside the abs valves without a scan tool to open the valves. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Accessory (Serpentine) belt removal and replacement

Nice. I always replace the tensioner and pulleys when doing the belt. Parts don’t last like they used to and on new cars the belt is packed in tight resulting in cuts in your hands[emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Snapped down pipe

Agree with your assessment. Awful clean break.Too cold on that side and he just puddled some metal against it. I’m no welding pro but I did inspect my SPDs before I installed them and to my eyes they looked like quality welds. Fingers crossed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Rotors

Not many rotors these days worth turning. Minimum mass for fuel economy so they keep them thin. Last set I could cut was 3500hd business truck 20 plus years ago[emoji23] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
