How to get outside air in?

Thanks, so if I turn off A/C button, confirm recirc is off and auto has at least one light, it should be just outside air?

How to get outside air in?

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get outside air to flow in through the climate controls (in the old days there was an outside vent selection.) Windows and roof vent are an option but would like to just have fresh air without opening up. Thanks

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Hearing all your concerns… I took the bolt out to see if there were any witnesses marks from movement. Sure enough the bolt had made contact with the sub-frame on the side closest the the diff. So in an abundance of caution I will leave it out and try to forget about it. Thanks again for setting...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

The problem is the engineers designed in the two bolts for a reason but the bean counters took 1 out.

BTW what are you guys that are “souping up” your power output doing with the bolt issue?

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Guys, there is no metal on metal. The bolt is 5" long but the sub-frame is only 5/8" from the diff cover and the sub-frame is about 3" thick, no real leverage. I have a hard time believing that the OEM 3 mounting points flex enough to cause my bolt to be a problem. I think of it like a heavy...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Added a bolt to the 1/3 bolt differential mount EDIT: and removed it per some advice from knowledgeable members of this forum I decided I would be the guinea pig… Since Ford isn’t going to install the proper sub-frame (and I will be Hwy towing and off road towing) I decided I would just...

Answering my own question... The Helm manual is (I think) the same thing Ford use to provide, and yes it fits perfect in the Wallet. Thanks Whoosh!

    What kinda mod void warranty

The problem is they can deny warranty on any ol’ whim, then it’s up to you to fight it. And as mentioned above they have very deep pockets.
