    JXB bushing insert

It's been in the shop since last week. Luckily it's still under powertrain warranty until Dec. 4. I have extended warranty for 2 more years and 30K miles.

    JXB bushing insert

I received word today that my 2020 ST with 54K miles has to have the RDU (Rear Differential Unit?) replaced again after a few thousand miles. The PTU was replaced twice also. Today my service advisor said they think the differential installed a few months ago "had the wrong gear ratio set up."...

Picked up my 2025 Ford Explore ST last week

A lot of these are deal-breakers for me! I love the hands-free liftgate and active park assist. The projection lamps are things I am still enamored with after 5 years and people who don't even care about such things notice and give me compliments on them. I have driven an Escape and a Bronco...

    21 ST Vibration and noise

Mine is back in the shop for noise and shuddering while accelerating. I have previously had the front CV boot/axles replaced, TSB to delete the FADA on the front axle, the transfer case replaced twice along with the rear differential. We'll see what they come up with this time. I'm still under...

2020 ST Various Issues - Exhaust / Drivetrain Vibration / Suspension Clunk

I have personally put 54,500 miles on my 2020 ST and I have had all of these issues you describe and much more! I still love/hate this thing. I have left it at the dealership again for them to try to diagnose the drivettrain shudder/rumble issue. The good news is all of my repairs have been free...

    21 ST Vibration and noise

Mine had the differential replaced and transfer case replaced twice at 54K miles and I still have shuddering when accelerating. I am taking it back to the dealer on Tuesday to have it checked out again. The front end had both CV boots replaced a couple years ago and earlier this year the front...

    Ambient Lighting

Ford's plot to get those who want these features to switch to Aviator and pay $20K more! LOL

Metallic pinging/grinding sound intermittently, AWD fault light + tons of other error faults showing up on dash

I had this issue last spring. I only had about 47K miles. It's the front axle disconnect actuator (FADA) deletion TSB 23-2174. For me fortunately it was done under powertrain warranty. Unfortunately, a few months later I had to have the transfer case and rear differential replaced too. About...

    Wish

Yeah even vloggers who usually hate Ford/Lincoln are amazed by the Nautilus interior and exterior design and quality look and feel.

Need option for hard buttons to control scrolling through radio presets on 2025 Ford Explorer ST.

At least you have a nice new bluetooth remote to use elsewhere! LMAO So I guess the OP didn't have the 2020 model and is a first-time user of the steering wheel controls, which btw have been competely redone on all-new Fords and Lincolns. They're virtual buttons on the Lincolns and probably some...

    Wish

I'm driving a brand new 2024 loaded Chrysler Pacifica PHEV at work and the infotainment system, features and quiet performance make my 2020 ST with 54K miles look and feel clunky and outdated! It's like getting a cell phone every 3 or 4 years. The tech advances so quickly that you're behind in...

    Rear End Failure

I think it's the FADA delete TSB. All these other problems started after that. Either they didn't perform the TSB correctly or something else is worn or damaged. I remember reading that the 2020 did have a driveshaft weld recall but mine wasn't recalled. My service advisor said the 4 cyl. 300hp...

Need option for hard buttons to control scrolling through radio presets on 2025 Ford Explorer ST.

My 2020 does that from the steering wheel arrows. Does the 2025 not have that feature? All I do is use the arrows on the steering wheel and I can scroll through all 24 of my Sirius preset channels on 4 different pages of presets. You can have up to 30 presets.

    Rear End Failure

My service advisor and powertrain technician said to drive it easy to allow the PTU to break in and clutches to adjust. For 500 miles I have never gone past 1/3 throttle or above 3000 rpm. It still shudders when front axle gets power but not as bad as before the last replacement. In the next...

High Mileage Explorer STs check in!

I have 54K miles and it was built 11/1/19. I'm on my third transfer case, second rear differential, rebuilt transmission at 24K miles, fuel pump at 10K miles, not to mention the front CV axle boots, on third rear camera, second catalytic converter, bad battery at 19 months, new rear defrost...

    Rear End Failure

My rear differential and transfer case/ptu were replaced back in early June at about 50,000 miles. The transfer case failed again just 3 months later. I think the differential is bad again too.

    Wiper Nuts

Guilty as charged! I love driving in the rain just to use the wipers!

    AWD Module Calibration

I do not have Forscan. I've driven it about 400 miles since the second PTU replacement and it seems to be deteriorating. The power transfer is rough and there's loud shuddering and grinding noises. At this point the only thing I can think of that hasn't been replaced is the drive-shaft and if...

    Interior Rattles

Mine's been a rattle box since day one and has only gotten worse. Some of the squeaks and rattles are also intermittent.
