My Fords going back to 2005 have all worked Homelink with key off. If you park outside you need to disable the opener when you are home. My vehicles are always inside so not a problem for me.

The Eliminator actually gives you more control. Auto-start will no longer turn back on by itself with a key cycle. It will only turn on or off when you command it to.

You do not give up control with the Eliminator. The button still works to turn auto-start on and off.

I was just reading the Aviator does not have a console button to disable Auto-Start. It requires getting to a menu on the touch screen to disable it. This is every time you start the engine. Ugh! The Eliminator will permanently disable it.

The Eliminator is simply a labor saving device, much like automatic headlight activation. There are a lot of similar automatic features in these cars, and all of them cost money.

If you are referring to the light in the forward bin with the USB outlets, my 2022 has a light there.

I thought that was what I remembered when checking the previous years. So I would say it is definitely the replacement for the deleted floor console. Should be helpful for those with captain chairs on their 2022. I think it is also useful for bench seat applications.

Well, I very quickly became tired of the auto-stop "feature" (less than a week), so I installed the auto stop eliminator today. I am pleased to say it works just as advertised. So it does work on 2022 models.

I purchased the auto stop eliminator back before I ordered my 22 ST. I will install it, but first wanted to experiment with the feature to get a better feel for it. Keeping in mind the feature is already disabled when in Sport mode (also disabled in Tow/Haul, Trail, and Deep Snow/Sand modes).

Mine was 15 days from Built to Delivered.

Don't really know. Just said it was an Explorer rebate. Maybe something for December. When I ordered it he said I would get any rebate that was in effect when I took delivery. Had no need to ask any further.
