We had one problem with my '13 Sport (transmission as well - weird right?) in the 6 years and 197k miles I had it. Thought we'd bucked the trend. As for tuning, yeah...I'm gonna let everyone else figure out the weak points of the drivetrain before I do lol

So update to this thread: The unhooking the battery didn't do anything. Still slammed into the lower gears. Took it in to Ford yesterday, they're replacing the transmission.

Kevin is correct. It's not a true 50/50 AWD system, where it's on 100% of the time. Until the front senses slip, it's RWD-biased.

So in the last couple days, my ST has been violently downshifting when coasting/slowing down to either stop or make a turn...so much it feels like slamming into "PARK" and it clunks. Also, when I'm accelerating onto the highway the transmission seems to be searching for the right gear...

Mike, is there any way you could possibly resize your patch signature? I'm forced to scroll every time just to get past your signature block.

The burden of proof is on the dealership to prove the modification caused the malfunction/damage.

I do drive at night in the country. These LEDs - even on bright are just fine.

Best part about stock turbo housings --- Ford techs won't know they're not stock. So all your warranty worriers should sleep well knowing that.

They took my badges off, gave me the OEM ones back. I ordered replacements from Ford....still haven't put them back on. Debadged has grown on me.
