    Happy Memorial Day (Early)

If that's really what your take-away is from what I have posted, there is really nothing I can do to help.

    Happy Memorial Day (Early)

An immensely moving video that reinforces the sadness with regard to the losses suffered by The Greatest Generation and beyond. Those losses, nor their commemoration, will ever cause me to be "happy."

    Oil life meter

Was there anything I posted that was not factual? And, yeah, since, yet again, you seem to be either incapable or unable to address the content of the post, rather than me personally, I am definitely happy living rent-free in your little mind.

    Oil life meter

Exactly, modern-day synthetic engine oils are of such a magnitude higher quality than oils of even a few years ago that "change" intervals are almost becoming irrelevant for many people, a number of whom disregard intervals entirely and merely add oil when the "low oil" light appears...

    Oil life meter

Yeah, if you can't trust a self-proclaimed oil guru "Tribologist" with a "ton of [YouTube] videos," and no less than a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising, who sells piston rings for a living, who you gonna trust, right?

    Happy Memorial Day (Early)

    You are his alter-ego, right?

    Happy Memorial Day (Early)

Pot. Kettle. Black. You appear to be far more concerned with me, personally, rather than addressing the content. Why is that?

    Happy Memorial Day (Early)

Pretty thick-skinned here myself. And in this entire thread, I have merely offered my own observations and provided what may be, to some, otherwise unknown information. At no point have I "told" anyone to do anything. The bottom line is that if anyone truly believes that Memorial Day is a day...

    Happy Memorial Day (Early)

Indeed. That said, my posts, comments, and responses have been of a purely observational and informational nature. If anyone feels "alienated" by the same, that is really on them, not me.

    Happy Memorial Day (Early)

"Disagreement" is not the same as "offense." That said, it does appear that some of the posts in this thread may have, indeed, offended you.

    Happy Memorial Day (Early)

You do not, and cannot, possibly speak for "all the veterans" on this site or elsewhere. Additionally, and as is evidenced by this thread alone, there obviously still exists more than a bit of confusion with regard to the intent, creation, and meaning of the Memorial Day holiday and/or its...

    Happy Memorial Day (Early)

No, there is not. As stated previously, gratitude and happiness are two entirely different things. Additionally, those who are "happy" that such a day as Memorial Day even exists display a callousness beyond description.

    Happy Memorial Day (Early)

Which, again, illustrates your apparent lack of understanding of the purpose and/or intent of this day, which is to memorialize those who paid the ultimate price in their defense of our country and our hard-fought freedoms. There is nothing "happy" about this particular day, ever, so maybe stop...

    Expended Warranty

    1. The Ford ESPs (Extended Service Plans) are not "warranties," they are service contracts. 2. If a dealer offers "negotiability," you are talking to the wrong dealer and are likely going to overpay for an ESP. 3. There is no such thing as an "average price point" as the cost of a Ford ESP is...

Have a Blessed, Meaningful, and Prayerful Memorial Day!

Having lost a close family member to war, I struggle with this so-called "holiday" each year, but I think this photo may come close to summing it up for both current and previous generations. When my grandparents, members of the Greatest Generation, and some of the strongest people I have ever...

    Happy Memorial Day (Early)

Although I am most grateful for those who were willing to, and indeed did, give the full measure, I am not at all happy that they did so. The words are not synonymous. In fact, having personally lost a close relative in war, I am both grateful and sad.
