I was assuming it did. OP didn’t mention there were no codes and I don’t think all transmission codes will cause a CEL. I was just trying to come up with something, anything, that might be plausible. LOL! [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Maybe, and a very big maybe, by the shutters not opening, the fluid is not being properly cooled which is causing the transmission to overheat? I know it's a very long reach but maybe that's what they are trying to say.

They have a module for this like they do for the Auto Start/Stop. Drive Mode Memory Module

I see this is an old thread but since it was revived, here's my two cents. I had my front windows tinted to match the back. The shop that did my tint said the rear windows were about 20% but the law for the front is 35%. They were able to get it close at 32% on the front windows. I got stopped...

I did read through the ESP terms and conditions and it says, “IF” the failure is caused by. . . They do have to prove that it caused the failure, however, it’s not hard for them to link a mod to the failure and then it’s up to you to prove them wrong. Good luck with that! Attorney fees alone...
