    Exhaust "Buzz"

It’s got about 12K on it. Installed it in September 2023. Yes, we drilled weep holes in everything. I’m waiting to see if they stand behind their product now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Exhaust "Buzz"

According to the warranty, I have to go through Lethal Performance and send the product back to them for inspection! Meanwhile I have no exhaust! I’ve emailed them to see if I can just buy the resonator and when they get the defective one back, then give me my money back. Sent from my iPhone...

    Exhaust "Buzz"

I was able to locate what's causing the noise today. The resonator split open on the top! I have no idea how it happened but hopefully Thermal will work with me to make it right.

Considering 2025 ST but concerned with reliability

This is too funny! [emoji23] I guess it all depends on which website you go to. @Caster has 2024 results though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Fuel octane?

I believe the PCM would be able to make the necessary adjustments if you had to fill up and only 91 was available. I don't think the difference between 91 and 93 is significant enough to cause any real adverse affects.

Considering 2025 ST but concerned with reliability

When your the top selling brand in the US you are bound to have more recalls and warranty claims. Ford also issues recalls on a lot of minor things, like software glitches, in an effort to support their customer base where other manufacturers are hesitant to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not yet. Getting under there today to adjust the camber and will see what I find. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

I’m going to be doing this today. A friend is coming over to help me and we’re going to jack up the rear end to get the weight of the wheels then loosen the nuts and let it settle wherever it will. I have an appt on Monday for an alignment. I’ll see how it goes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I just put the same tires on. I don’t find them loud. What tires did you have on before? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What Did the Wife Do to the Explorer ST Today

I just paid $1,000 to have the lower bumper and a trim piece replaced from where my mom backed into me. It's gonna be at least $2-3K for that repair.

    Exhaust "Buzz"

I think you may be on to something there. About the same time it began, I noticed some off-white like substance in my exhaust tips! I didn’t think much of it at the time but now that you mention the honeycomb it could be what it is. It would definitely explain the buzz I hear/feel in the...

    2nd Row Center Console Cover

I think he is talking about the center console between the back seats. Those covers are nice though! I have this one and it fits nice and tight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Active leak

I agree. From the looks of the bolt, it's been removed. I bet they put some kind of red grease on the bushing before installing it and that's what it is from. You can see it along the edge of the bushing to the left of the drip.

    Exhaust "Buzz"

So I'm not sure how to describe this other than a "buzz" from the exhaust. I've had the SPD downpipes and the Thermal exhaust on for about 15 months now and it's been fine. Recently it seemed the exhaust got quieter than it used to be but I figured it was just me getting old. Well about a week...

    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

Well heck, that sounds easy enough. We’re gonna work on it one night this week. I’m going by the other shop tomorrow and see what they say. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

As one point in time I would do this. However, arthritis has limited my ability to do a lot of things I used to do. It’s hard for me to turn wrenches anymore. I do have someone who might help me though. If I were to attempt this, how do I know when it’s in specs? Do I just eyeball it? Sent...

Considering 2025 ST but concerned with reliability

Those prices are a bit off: Interstate Battery- $285 (Easy enough job to do yourself) Spark Plugs- Cost me $390 to have my mechanic install a set of colder plugs New Transmission- I was quoted $5,900 to replace the transmission, parts & labor (Ford ended up covering it under warranty) Not sure...

    Rude Awakening On Rims Today!

Yes! But God forbid your window tint is 3% below the 35% legal limit because then you’ll get stopped and end up with a $225 fine! [emoji2959] Ask me how I know! Makes no sense! No disrespect to law enforcement or anything but I feel that’s a bit much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
