COBB Accessport - Goosetuned Tuning thread

Kind of figured you didn’t go into this blind but better safe than sorry. Wish the ST had as sturdy a rear end as the Raptor but they are two different beasts. Look forward to seeing your progress on getting most out of the ST platform.

COBB Accessport - Goosetuned Tuning thread

Good to see you over here after all the great tuning you’ve done for the Raptor EcoBoost. Just note that the weakest link on the ST is the differential support. Not sure if your test bed vehicle came with a three bolt or four bolt mount but regardless you may want to check the rear bolt(s) to...

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Just found the other two threads where this is being discussed and where my earlier question was asked and answered. So thanks for putting up with duplicate questions. Hope that the differential is what you were expecting it to be and it is plug and play. Look forward to hearing about the...

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Thanks. So any Idea on if this will also require additional modifications (I’m wondering specifically about the traction control system) to address the change in the differential or is it just a simple swap?

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Interesting news. While you didn’t show it in the picture, I’m assuming it has the same rear cover as the ST does.

    Camera Recall

Was lucky and never had the blue screen issue on my 2022, that is, until they replaced it under warranty during my last service appointment a week ago. Then it started cropping up frequently within three hours of getting the vehicle back. Did the reboot of the sync system and it helped but...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Yeah, I could have been clearer about that. Should have written: “The 2020 models had the four bolt subframe and then it shifted to a three bolt configuration starting during the 2021 model run and continued throughout the 2022 model run and most of the 2023 model run.”

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

It’s hard to pin point a date but the four bolt subframes started reappearing during the 2023 model run but even then, it’s case by case given what information has shown up on the forum. The 2020 models had the four bolt subframe and then it shifted to a three bolt configuration starting during...

Converting crossmember from 1 bolt to 2

This is what folks have listed as being the correct subframe: https://ford.oempartsonline.com/oem-parts/ford-cross-member-assembly-mb5z5035g Part number MB5Z-5035-G Hopefully when @Cruising68 gets back from the links, they can confirm that this is the part number they ordered.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Unless I am reading this wrong, the remedy doesn’t get to the root cause of the problem (three bolt versus four bolt subframe). It only requires Ford to replace the bushing on the subframe along with the bolt and inspect and replace if needed the rear axle cover. Shows that while the NHTSA...

Getting rid of GPS "nanny state" care

You can lower the volume of the prompts or mute them by turning the volume knob on the center console down while the prompt is occurring. The system I’ll keep that volume level. Same goes for the ring volume. No Forscan required.

Late 2022 with four bolt subframe?

This is what folks have listed as being the correct subframe: https://ford.oempartsonline.com/oem-parts/ford-cross-member-assembly-mb5z5035g Part number MB5Z-5035-G

The best diff brace money can buy.

One thing to note is they weren’t kidding about going back and rechecking the torque specs after driving around for “a little bit”. I went and rechecked after having driven around in a mostly non-spirited way and found that the 90mm bolt had gone out of its 70 ft lb torque spec and needed to be...

The best diff brace money can buy.

It’s a little late but here’s the installation instructions for the brace that includes the torque specs. For some reason, they didn’t include specs for the bolts used on the bushing housing and bushing housing brace. Right or wrong, I went with the torque specs used for the differential cover...

Ford Pass Service Engine Soon Warning Message

Happened to go look in the Ford Pass application and noticed a couple of new messages with the subject line of “Service Engine Soon Warning“ and an explanation that the engine control system had detected that the engine had taken too long to reach operating temperature along with a “what to do”...

Glad I‘ve got a 2022 model even with the three bolt rear. You can fix the bolt issue. You can’t fix ugly. :(

    Ford Performance Tune

Thanks! Took the cover off the steering column and disconnected the AutoStop for 15 and it works again. Now I need to retrain my brain not to include pressing the AutoStop button in my “things to press and/or twist“ start up list. :ROFLMAO:
