"Space GhoST"- single turbo ST build

Post #4 is now finished. It includes interesting information on transmission ratios and MPH at gear. Thanks again to @MattJ716 for his help on graphics. Click here for #4 to access.

That is an informative and interesting post. Bravo Sir!

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

That looks pretty beefy! Are you going to continue with the H-R springs with that front bar?

    One time, at band camp....

"Space GhoST"- single turbo ST build

Cool! I think the Weather Tech vs Husky Floor liners thread will still get more views, but Matt and I are putting in the work regardless. ;)

    Warranty denial?

A tune by itself is not going to contribute to sensor failure, subject to alternative fuels. Certainly though, adding additional stresses to the engine will affect longevity. As to how much, no one can know for sure. As I stated in your quoted post, and a few others, if one is unsure, or...

"Space GhoST"- single turbo ST build

This thread is a bit jacked, as I tried to put the info early in the thread and have comments below. I attempted at first a dual-thread approach, one for the info thread and the other for the questions, but it just isn't workable. So instead, I've put placeholders in place. So if you want to...

"Space GhoST"- single turbo ST build

Looked at the idea, and you're right, it'll play...however, you still have to fab up the downpipes, charge pipes, intake pipes, and build head adapters to a T25 or V-Band inlet. The turbo centerlines would definitely have to be offset, so there would to need to be some fab work put into...

"Space GhoST"- single turbo ST build

For those who posted content on the now defunct "questions" thread, I've asked the admin to move those to this thread so as to not lose any content. As you'll see from post #3 (just completed), it's a pretty technical subject so has taken a bit longer than I expected.

"Space GhoST"- single turbo ST build

Due to RSV and a resulting complicating factor, I've been down for a bit. Still not 100%, but getting better!

"Space GhoST"- single turbo ST build

Thanks again to @MattJ716 I have finally finished post #3. For anyone following, we have abandoned the dual thread (questions). Feel free to remark on this thread.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I only wish my hearing was still 100%, I'd love to actually hear the stereo in this thing when you're done with it!

    Warranty denial?

Good information- would you be kind enough to summarize the protocol and tell us the experience of the RS owners?

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

How many miles do you have on it? That cracked trans cooler could have led to major problems. Good catch by your dealer's service dept.

    Is the Ford Tune noticable?

Like I said, he's probably clueless. I'm sure we'll see over time.

    Is the Ford Tune noticable?

I don't think he's a troll, I think he's just clueless about how a forum like this works. Kind of like Firestarter! (Tip o' the hat to @FORZDA3 for suggesting that nickname!) But, you bring up something that I feel strongly about....I have never downvoted (thumbs down) a post, nor have I ever...

    Warranty denial?

Your logic is sound, but business-wise, it's missing certain details. Keep in mind we're talking about a performance tune. In the case of an entire transmission or an engine failure, it won't be up to the dealer. They have to get permission to do something like that which brings a Ford warranty...

    Is the Ford Tune noticable?

Actually, the very first thing you did was open a new thread to post the same info.

    Is the Ford Tune noticable?

@Trike Here are the 27 pages of discussion on the Ford Performance Tune. If you are new, you might want to familiarize yourself with this (and other) threads prior to posting your thoughts randomly. If you have something to contribute about warranty info, post it to this thread...

    Is the Ford Tune noticable?

You opened a completely new thread just to share the same post of your thoughts? https://www.explorerst.org/threads/explorer-st-tune.4708/post-62367
