What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Thank you! Yep, Ford used those orange, one-use fittings designed by the devil! UPR says you can use a right angle pick, but there's not enough room to get the end of the pick under the edge all the way around the fitting, especially the end down by the turbo. I did see an alternate method on...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

They work ok? I looked at them in my ST and I'm unsure if there's enough room to even get anything under the edge of the quick connect, especially the end down by the turbo. I'm dreading this part!

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I purchased a UPR catch can, but the orange Ford quick connects have to come off. UPR says to heat the two ends of the tube so the Ford orange connectors can be pulled out and insert the new ones included in the UPR kit. Is a hairdryer hot enough to use or is it better to use a heat gun? I know...

windshield replacement - go with Ford? or aftermarket?

I've always gone with OEM. Some aftermarket glass will have slight distortions in certain light.

UPR catch can and orange fitting solution.

On the hose with the orange connectors, will a hairdryer be hot enough to soften the plastic hose enough to remove the fittings, or will it take a heat gun?

UPR catch can and orange fitting solution.

I have a 2026 ST. On the driver's side, on the air tube, there is a fitting with a yellow lock and the one below that has a green lock. Anyone know how to remove these? They attach to two sensors on the back side of this air tube. Thanks!

    JXB bushing insert

Which bolt are you using? Was it difficult to remove the bolt? I understand the Explorer should be on a lift or jack stands and then use a floor jack to slightly support/lift the differential. Since the jack is used in the jack slots, where is the best location for the jack stands? I just bought...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Thank you for your response. There is a lot of good information here for sure. My wife mostly wanted the Explorer, but I convinced her to get the ST. I'm old as well and even bruised up my left arm and scratched it up in two places getting that Auto Stop Start Eliminator installed. My questions...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Not so much today as it will be tomorrow. I ordered a UPR catch can and it's scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I finally got in touch with Brett at Fenfab after a few emails and two phone calls. He finally replied with answers to my questions, one of which was turn around time. For the ECM cover...

    Single Differential Bolt

    Very well stated…and true!

    Single Differential Bolt

Thank you for that info. I don't mind spending the money if it does the job. It has some attributes that I like, however I've yet to talk with anyone who has one installed other than the Steeda guys.

    Single Differential Bolt

Thanks for your advice guys. I had looked at the video that JXB uses to show how each brace worked. They installed a camera under the Explorer facing the differential. It was surprising to say the least - a lot of stress on that single bushing and bolt. I kinda' liked the Steeda, but it's bulky...

    Single Differential Bolt

Thank you your reply! That's my thought as well. Given the issues, it's good insurance, especially for the cost of the parts a little bit of effort. Did you put yours on a lift, crawl under it, or use jack stands? I'll probably use jack stands, as I don't have access to a lift and a transmission...

    Single Differential Bolt

I just bought a new 2026 Space White Explorer ST. I've read many stories about the single diff. bolt, through 2025, break or bend. I've also read where Ford has improved the single diff. bolt and bushing. I'm unsure if Ford truly made an upgrade and if so, is it an upgrade that's more stable...

Rear bumper cover help and questions

I was wondering the same thing. We purchased a 2026 Space White ST and this same piece got scuffed coming off of the carrier. I was hoping it could be replaced without removing the entire rear bumper cover. I'm paranoid they will scratch the paint or screw up something else. I would not be a...

Model 2026 does not has the panoramic glass roof w/ power shade. Is about a cost reduction or due quality problems?

We just bought a 2026 Space White ST. This conversation came up and the sales manager said it was due to quality/reliability problems. Ours didn’t come with it, so it was neither here nor there for us
