DIY 170° thermostat, by OE supplier Stant. A $20 project.

You’re the one that mentioned the gasket bringing the OD up to the proper measurement. I’m just letting everyone know it doesn’t use a perimeter gasket in the 3.0.
  2. UNBROKEN

Just out here glowing in the sun.

The roof rail delete looks better from every angle...probably one of my favorite mods so far.

How does everyone wash and dry the roof?

How do I wash it? I reach over and just wash it. Being 6’7” and lowered makes it easy. lol

FYI the Explorer doesn’t use a perimeter gasket so I hope you’re right on the OD working.

    Slick Top

All in all it wasn’t too bad. 4 hours start to finish and the first 2 hours was figuring out how to disassemble everything. I had no idea the headliner around the pano roof is held up with magnets. lol After you get the headliner down it’s 4 10mm nuts per side and a couple of push in clips and...

    SPD Performance Downpipes

Care to elaborate? What’s the issue?

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Slick top ST. 4 hours start to finish and not for the faint of heart. There’s 3 holes left on each side...I used butyl rope to smash in and seal them. And I guess this puts to bed that they will definitely work with a sunroof.

    Project Blue Steel

Find a better paint shop. There are no paintable versions from Ford...yours need to be smoothed out and prepped right and they’ll last just as long as every other painted plastic part.

    Steeda Sway Bar Hitting Spring

Agreed you shouldn’t have to but it is an option for sure. If Steeda changed the angle of the bar ends just a few degrees it would eliminate this issue.

    Steeda Sway Bar Hitting Spring

Mine is close to the H&R springs but I’ve checked it a few times and no contact. They definitely need to adjust those stops. I plan to order some shaft collars like this...Hellwig sends them with some of their bars. With these you can center the bar and lock it into place.

    Corsa is in the game.

Yea...$1600 seems a little high to me.

    SPD Performance Downpipes

Makes me glad I have a 4 post lift and a full mechanics shop behind my office for our fleet trucks.

    Engine cranks. Won’t turn on.

Does it have fuel and fuel pressure?

    Slick Top

Mine are going on this weekend. I’ll let y’all know just how sucky it is.

ALL YOU CATCH CAN GUYS; How much oil?

My personal results with cans mounted in various places in the engine bay are different. More condensation in winter in the can no matter where the can is located...except the VTA cans which were largely always just oil.

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Yea...I decided to try this app out since I already have the OBD adapter they recommend for Forscan crap. I tried the AutoMeter DashLink 2.0....it’s a raging piece of shit. I got it to connect maybe 5 times.

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Put together a digital page as well. Looking forward to actually connecting it to the minivan this weekend to open up the mfg specific PID’s to see if I can catch an oil pressure reading somewhere.

ALL YOU CATCH CAN GUYS; How much oil?

Give it time. Mine has been on for a while and I can get a few drops out. And the condensation that hits these cans won’t evaporate out...you’ll have to drain it out. The VTA can on my blown Coyote is the only one I’ve ran that would let the condensation evaporate. Both UPR and JLT cans on...

ALL YOU CATCH CAN GUYS; How much oil?

You’ll always have less in warmer months and more in colder months. You’ll see the pattern eventually.
