That’s debatable but I feel better with them gone.

You don’t need to heat them up. Just grab a piece of fishing line or dental floss and use it to slice them right off the hood. Goo Gone works to get rid of the adhesive residue but if you have access to a 3M Eraser Wheel it makes it a 5 minute job.

All OEM parts are retained for a normal install. I chose to remove the grille shutters but you don’t have to.

You need to keep an eye on it between oil changes for sure.

You don’t need any of the optional parts unless you just want them. The basic kit comes with everything you need.

I already answered that. It’s fiberglass packing material left over from the manufacturing process. It’ll all blow out the pipes and it’ll be gone eventually.

Mine came with clear ones installed along with clear door edge guards. I peeled it all off. lol
