Trim is fit now. Filler and finish sanding today. Floor mats are cut to match and go to get the border sewn back on tomorrow and hopefully I’ll wrap these up this weekend so I can focus on the a-pillars.

Just because I may have missed it…or forgotten…have you considered finding a pair of smaller chargers that fit the bill and having some adapters machined to bolt to the head? Seems like it would cut way down on fab work if the exhaust was largely unchanged as well as the lay-out of the intake...

Lots of glass on the kick panel pods today and while that’s curing I started the new a-pillars. Aimed just behind the rear view mirror then attached the rings and made a plastic insert to blend in above the rings. That’s it for this week.

Don’t buy Hushmat…the CLD barely does anything and the damping pads do nothing…it’s physically impossible for a pad that thin to do anything. Look at Resonix for the highest quality sound deadening products on the market.

Today I got the holes cut, speaker rings aimed and mounted then the cloth pulled with resin and first layer of mat applied. 1 more layer outside and 2 inside tomorrow.

This is the Street Pack pads…silver backer. This is Performance Pack pads. Not a great pic but it’s from someone who bought those pads and had them installed. You can clearly tell they have a black backer. I guess technically they’re all black, the silver part is a stainless shim that’s used...

Well…the Performance Pack pads have black backing plates. That was the easy way to tell if the dealer installed them in the early days when the cars shipped with the pads in a box and the dealership has to install them.
