Don't be afraid to do it a second time. I needed to with mine. My battery is closed to 6 years old and works fine. Even the ASS works.

I hope it continues for you. With mine I reset it a few times and it has been good for a long time now. The ASS even works better. LOL

That is used to put the vehicle in neutral if it does not start. The directions should be in the owners manual.

You could also try resetting the BMS. Easy to do and it might work.

Not correct. I had my battery go bad on a 2001 Ford ranger. I jump started and drove to the auto supply store. When I got to their parking lot it died. The vehicle does need the battery to keep running. I have no idea where you get this from.

Have you had your battery tested? Pretty good chance it has gone bad.
