Rotten egg smell is post cat. My thought is a cracked weld at the exit side of one of the cats like we’re hearing about which causes excessive flex pipe rattling.

For sure it is. I had to get used to it but it is easier on the drive line. Don’t get me wrong, I like to go fast but not on city streets.

When no negative pressure is available such as with wide open throttle, you’re right, the check valve closes and nothing gets pulled from the crankcase. There are other brands though that use the intake tube vacuum to take over at that point. I also have the UPR can which does have the WOT line...

You’ll get the hyper flash if you install LED’s that don’t have a built in resistor. If you do install those, then yes, you’ll need to use Forscan to disable hyper flash. Hyper flash is there to tell you that one of your standard turn signal bulbs is out. LED’s don’t have the resistance that...

That is NOT normal and do not accept that explanation from Ford. That’s one of the craziest “that is normal” excuses I’ve ever heard. Maybe that would make sense if one or more of the rear cylinders valve seals are leaking but still that’s not normal.

Yep, I understand where you’re coming. Nothing wrong in playing it safe, that’s for sure. The only changes I made with FS is the double honk, fogs w/hi beams, LED’s and fake engine noise.

If that’s all you’re planning on doing with ForScan then yes, just get the AS Eliminator and be done. But if you already use FS and you’re proficient enough with it, do it that way. There’s been a lot of attempts to use FS for this and no one has succeeded until now.

I too cut the water spots on the glass with 0000 steel wool. My glass was spotted since day one and even doing that, there’s still some spots I can’t get out; most likely etched.

How many miles on it? After getting on it, the turbos do get hot and when new, there’s a burn-off smell but it also could be the defective weld on the exit side of the CAT. I believe there is a recall coming on this.

Yeah, I think he knows about the button. I too don’t like this feature. The most harm on an engine is done at start up so why multiply that 10-20 times per trip. And like UpinBst said, it’s even worse for turbos. I did the Eliminator and I’d do it again too. Plus it’s gay LOL!
