Lowering Springs: Lethal, Eibach, Steeda, H&R PROS and CONS

I've been riding on the Eibachs for a while. The drop is more than advertised for my ride, 2.0 inch drop in the rear and 1.69 (1 11/16) inch in the front. I would have preferred an even drop to keep the rake but the ride quality is excellent.

    Screen Update?

You could use Waze or Google maps through android auto or Apple carplay. It would also give you live traffic updates.

    LED Reverse lights

No changes in Forscan required since it's not blinking, constant on while in reverse. The LEDs give off more light with less wattage.

Fullscreen Android Auto/CarPlay Mod Is Here for Sync3 10P Screen!! [FMods Team 10 Pees]

It will slow down a little bit with the full screen mod due to the extra screen area, with BT or wired, but the new layout is worth it.

Try removing the Ford BT connection, leaving the smartDongle connection to be the interface.

Fullscreen Android Auto/CarPlay Mod Is Here for Sync3 10P Screen!! [FMods Team 10 Pees]

With my old phone, Waze would eat my battery so I would need to have it plugged in. that wasn't using Bluetooth, I was just using the phone screen for navigation. No drain on the battery with my new phone using Bluetooth.

Fullscreen Android Auto/CarPlay Mod Is Here for Sync3 10P Screen!! [FMods Team 10 Pees]

I've been using the YEYSUA for a couple of months and it's pretty good, occasionally through Waze using Apple carplay it's a little slow to respond to touches when replying to a popup but overall I like it. I am using an iPhone 16, don't know how earlier phones will respond. The one negative...

    Center Console Storage Tray

I got something similar from Amazon (SXCY), and also got the front trays. I like them, fit very well and the red matches the ST.

Steeda vs H&R vs Eibach decision

I like the ride much better than the stock springs, it's not as harsh but feels more planted. no brake dive or swaying. I'm running stock wheels with no spacers and have never bottomed out. Just remember to trim the bump stops in the front before assembling the struts when replacing the springs.

Steeda vs H&R vs Eibach decision

The delta would be the same. if the springs dropped the car 1 inch then the 33 inch height would be 32 and the 32.5 inch car would be 31.5. I'm not measuring different cars, I'm measuring mine. I understand your point, I just don't care.

Steeda vs H&R vs Eibach decision

Whatever.. I don't really care. Bottom line is the delta would be the same for before and after heights if I used your, or my method for measuring. I was interested in how much drop the springs would produce, and after alignment and settling I got 2.0 inches for the rear and 1 11/16 (1.69)...

Steeda vs H&R vs Eibach decision

The same would be true for your measurement. you're measuring the radius of the tire and I'm measuring the diameter. In exaggeration, the ride height would be different for a 12 inch vs. a 37 inch diameter tire. I was just giving a reference height for stock wheels in case someone wanted to...

Steeda vs H&R vs Eibach decision

I don't know about more accurate.. you've got 2.25 inch offset from the hub to the fender arch, is the straight edge level from the hub to the tape measure? if not then the reading is off. Is the straightedge in the center of the hub, or is it +/- 1/16 inch? Have a couple people measure your...

Steeda vs H&R vs Eibach decision

Installed the Eibachs a couple months ago. A little softer than the stock springs but feels more planted. I don't miss the LARGE gap but wish it had a bit more rake. With it lowered, it's easer to get in and out of now. 31 13/16 inches front AND rear from the ground through the center of the...

Ashville ST SUV experience autocross times

It's a nice backpack and the RTIC 32 ounce insulated bottle is good but doesn't fit in the cup holder. They don't give out the black badges anymore.. :( Still worth going even without the swag, definitely a fun day. I would suggest staying an extra day before, after, or both to take advantage of...

Ashville ST SUV experience autocross times

Was there on May 7th and had a ball!. If you go, the Biltmore house tickets are good for as many times as you want to go in (audio self guided, but excellent) as long as you are staying there. The tour at the end of the driving experience is guided. Got second with 29.657 :(

What grade of gas do you put in your ST?

93 most of the time, I'll use 87 on long trips where it'll all be burned up on the highway. I can feel the difference between the two, with 87 there is a lag and less acceleration when punching it.
