Did you insure that the inner cowling covering battery nd fuse box is pressed correctly under the windsheld. It is common to not snap it in place after removing it for a battery change.

    Vibrating… North of 67MPh

The original tires on my 2020 came with foam filled tires that vibrated at higher speeds and got worse as the foam innercaot (for making the tires quieter) disintegrated. No rpoblem after all the iiner foam liner was removed and tires reblanced.

What grade of gas do you put in your ST?

The base has closed and VP-17 was moved to Kaneohe MCAS hangers across the island. The H-1 still is the main highway, but Hawaii is the only state without a 65mph speed limit. Most highway speeds run from 45 to 50 mph only. There is a five mile 60 mph stretch only near the old base.. I would...

What grade of gas do you put in your ST?

I use premium 91 as it designed for that level of power, I could get an ST-Line or XLT with an I-4 engine. I bought the ST as an upgrade from the Sport for more oomph when needed.

    Another power failure

The 2020 St is back to the dealer. The battery has a large power draw intermittently. This is the second battery replacement in 18 months. It ran fine for weeks then overnight went down to 3.5v. I did a slow recharge to avoid frying any modules. Rechecked for loose battery connects. It took...

    Catalytic Converters

Mine was from bad weld that was quickly fixed at the dealer under a recall notice. I had it done while the car was up for an oil change. It took a second visit to get it done correctly about a year and half ago.

    Tire Replacement @ 31k Miles

Correct. The foam is supposed to quit tire noise. I had to have my tires removed and scrapped clean when the the foam in a couple of tires came loose and caused bad vibrations. It happened during the first 15,000 miles. No problems with tires or vibrations since.

windshield replacement - go with Ford? or aftermarket?

The windshields have to be calibrated for the various sensors in the overhead panel. Safelite did a quick correct replacement for me and did the calibration test drive in about an hour with appointment.

    Battery replacement? UGH

I had a mobile service do it. Be careful with the plastic screw in clips on the shroud cover. It is ggod to order spares as they can be hard to find in auto supply stores. Whole process is more time consuming these days but can be done at home.

    6 Faults and AWD Module

Had similar issue last year. Turned out be electronic control modules for the trans and the collision control sensors. All covered under warranty but it took months back in 2022 to get the parts due to chip shortage. First check the battery. They only last 3 years and if not able to hold full...

Any vibrations on those Scorpions, have tire shop dismount and check for failure of innerliner. It may need to be scraped out.

    Tire Replacement @ 31k Miles

Had the tire wobble with my tires after about 17000 miles. Costco tire shop removed all the clumps of the silencer inner coating and no problem since. Ride is like new.

The "Space GhoST" has lost its powers....

In the past I have had other late model new Ford vehicles with defective batteries that would hold a charge all week. Luckily the batteries were replaced under warranty as it was frequently under a year.

The "Space GhoST" has lost its powers....

Similar experience with my battery on the 2020 after about 3 years. Next sign was some of the extra features like auto shut off did not work. Then a couple days the car notified me to turn off all accessories to start the car, even after long drive on previous day. Battery voltage would not...

So I get this recall message today…..

Only current recall is for the rear camera. Possibly not enough of the needed parts available.

    New ST owner

I had a few gitches with a numer of items besides the rear camera and catalytic weld. My dealer service manager also checked the TSB items that were lengthy and fixed those as well at no charge as everything was still under warranty. Only hassle is to have to leave the St for a few hours to...

The "Space GhoST" has lost its powers....

I am noticing that most batteries sold now are no longer wet cell versions with 5 to 7 year life spans. They now are gel cell with three year life spans. They do not fail at the rapid rate that a wet lead/acid but weaken slowly. First signs are that certain accessorie items do not fumction...

    New ST owner

MAke sure that your Ford dealer has done any of the recall items. They should have it on record for the VIN. It is all warranty stuff on the vehicle so it doesn't matter who the current owner is.
