I remember reading that the car will also get speed info from the navigation system as well.

Beat up by a car wash

I'm trying to be better with car care and have been googling stuff I read here. Didn't know about the clay bar so I looked into it. After reading up on it I was wondering why anyone would use a bar often at all?

Beat up by a car wash

In Ogden it's the Seagulls picking through trash left in the parking lot.

Beat up by a car wash

Because we don't have time or inclination to wash a car every day or even once a week. Why would anyone feel the need to wash daily or weekly?

Rebadge, Debadge or Leave it Stock , what is your preference?

The Explorer on the hood doesn't bother me but it's a microfiber towel grabbing sucker. I might have removed the letters but the clear bra is up around them. I don't get removing or changing the Ford emblems, it's a Ford, emblems are supposed to be blue and white. I guess to each there own.

    Ebay splash guard review

No metal was harmed in my install as I'm not sure there is any metal to be drilled. I drilled both holes through the plastic using the screw retainer clips to secure them well.

    Ebay splash guard review

I'm all about purchasing made in USA but not at 3 times the price plus I'm not sure were Ford gets there splash guards. I looked at Weather Tech but thought $80 was a little much for what they are plus I just gave Weather Tech $350 for a full set of floor liners. The markings and codes on the...

    Ebay splash guard review

It's a good thing I didn't get the pickup in the pic, it would give you heart failure but I'm headed out Turkey hunting Thursday and it's going to be wet so you can bet the somewhat Red Ram will be road slim brown by the time it's home.

    Ebay splash guard review

Thanks for the link. Tires are dirty because we just washed the car in the bark chips next to the carport then moved the car under the carport so I could roll my stool around. Our drive is a gravel alley so the tires are always dirty. I need a truck load of gravel this year to top dress the...

    Ebay splash guard review

I purchased https://www.ebay.com/itm/Front-Rear-Splash-Guards-Mud-Flaps-Mudguards-for-Ford-Explorer-2019-2020-2021-/124304348169?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286 off EBay for $32.50. The splash guards look good, plastic is flexible and seem to be good quality. I have nothing to compare them to so...

    Explorer Enthusiast ST

Wow a whole $4000, if your spending close to $50000 on a car might as well go big because $4000 really doesn't make much difference.

Remembering which way to turn the knob for Driving Modes: Normal, Eco, & Sport

Way to much thinking here. Eco and sport to the right everything else is left, how hard is it to remember to go right.

    More Cracked Headlights

After reading both posts on cracked headlights I looked mine over and found them to be crack, scratch or mold mark free. I am seeing nothing like in the pics above. I say keep on Ford until they make it right. My 2015 Dodge Ram had 10 hydraulic fan clutches and probably 20 shop visits over a...

    Key Fob questions

If the fob is in the car someone wouldn't need to break in as the door would unlock by just grabbing the door handle. Not sure it would even lock in the first place since the system would think the key was left in the car. We have two fobs but only use one as I'm not packing around the fob all...

    Rear hatch motion sensitivity

Here is a tip. Put a trailer hitch in the receiver and leave it there. Won't take to many whacks to the shins for your subconscious to kick in and keep your feet away from the sensor area and you won't be walking along the back of the vehicle right next to the bumper. Don't matter how heavy of...

    Front License Plate Bracket Removal

Do you guys not have to have a front plate or are you just blowing off the law?

    Rear hatch motion sensitivity

Being a little dramatic aren't you? With all the chiming that occurs before the door closes you know what's happening and all it takes is a little resistance to stop it. I doubt it's knocking you to the ground. From your comments it appears that you haven't bothered to spend a minute messing...
