    Installed Livernois Tune

Hey all, so took advantage of the Livernois sale going on right now and jumped on a tune....just installed it (haven't driven the car yet but will report back on that portion), but I received on tune on my calibrator, a 91-93 tune. For others who may have this as well, is that all you got? I...

ST Drive Mode Enhance Cabin Noise

The concept of fake engine noise boggles my mind, I wish mine would go away.

Who new the exhaust tips on the Explorer ST were fake?

I find it odd this is such a point of contention. They aren't "fake". I take issue with the size of the pea shooter tips more than the fact that they turn down so I don't have to polish them once a month.

What was your reaction the first time behind the wheel of a Explorer ST?

"not quite my Hellcat" lol I still enjoy it though, have a livernois tune on the way which should increase my smiles a bit.

    Borla Exhaust Upgrade

I don't have this one, but I installed the Borla on my Jeep SRT in my driveway. Not sure what's involved in this the hardest part of that install was having to cut off the old mufflers. My guess is this is a simple bolt on the only issue is probably clearance under it unless you have access to a...

Best tune for 2020 Ford Explorer ST

Sure it won't impact if your heated seat stops working, but if you have any powertrain issues you better be sure they are going to say the powertrain wasn't built to withstand the increased horsepower and stress that the tune provides. Like anything in life, gotta pay to play and tuning is...

    WeatherTech mats now available

You'd have to remove it or fold it back. Love weathertech's, have had them in every car I've owned for the past 15 years or so. My explorer came with the factory slush mats as a dealer option, they are ok, but I would rather have the weathertechs. I keep mine in all year round, carpet gets...

Reset Door Entry Code without using the dealership

There should be a card in the glovebox with the factory code on it.....mine was in my owners manual looked like a business card I believe

Rebadge, Debadge or Leave it Stock , what is your preference?

https://www.etsy.com/listing/751555340/2020-ford-explorer-st-custom-painted Don't pass out from the price lol. I wanted to like the vinyl overlays, but it just didn't look good enough up close to me so bit the bullet on these. They are first rate quality for sure just spendy.

    Has anyone changed exhaust tips?

Well, I guess not LOL. I may be the pioneer here. I don't really want a full exhaust as I don't want more sound out of a v6, but would like the tips to fill out the bumper a bit more. Going to order some and give it a shot.....will post an update once I get finished.

Rebadge, Debadge or Leave it Stock , what is your preference?

Thanks to EG7047 for the help! Got them put on today, wasn't difficult to remove the front bumper at all, had it off and back on within an hour. Back emblem was easy peasy. I went with gloss black with the Ford script and outline of the badge in matte black.

    2020 Ford Explorer 10.1-inch Infotainment

I like the idea of it, but it's poor execution. Horrid use of space and the Android auto is glitchy. It's just a poorly designed interface, they need to take some tips from Chrysler on how to do a good touch screen.

    Light bar

Well, I haven't on this car, but I have one on my Jeep. There has to be a firewall pass thru on the vehicle where you won't need to drill. Look up under the dash for a rubber plug or wires and you'll have your answer.

Rebadge, Debadge or Leave it Stock , what is your preference?

Well good to know before I started cutting lol. I saw something where someone had their wife reach up and use a socket to remove the nuts...my wife has baby hands maybe I'll try that first, but I guess worst case just remove the grille and bite the bullet. Sure as heck not paying 250 to have...

Rebadge, Debadge or Leave it Stock , what is your preference?

Interesting....thanks, I figured some automotive 3M tape would hold it pretty securely since most emblems are held on like that

Rebadge, Debadge or Leave it Stock , what is your preference?

Looks great! Mine are in the process of being made, not sure how long that will take ordered them about a week ago or so. My plan is to take a dremel with a cut-off wheel to the OEM front emblem.....should be pretty easy, I have no plans to re-use it anyway.

    Explorer ST Performance Tuning thread

Anyone heard anything about the JMS? Looks like a piggyback style that may "hide" a bit due to not changing software. Obviously not going to get 100hp from it, but curious to see what others think. I had something similar on my 335i years ago and it gave some great gains.

    Has anyone changed exhaust tips?

Update.....just got these put on. Gross day here so will wait until tomorrow to polish them up, but shop did a great job on them. I was looking to fill out the rear a bit more without any added sound so this did perfectly for me. So I'm wanting a bit more beefy look to the tips, just don't...
