    2026 Order banks open!

There are some decent numbers of 2026s on dealer lots. My 2020 was totalled so I was in a hurry to get into a new ST. Thankfully they found one without the sunroof but i had to accept it being black instead of carbonized gray. After 3 weeks of driving now, I love it. The interior and tech...

How the frig do you program home link garage door openers?

On mine, once I pair it with a garage door remote and verify it opens the garage door, I hit the LEARN button on the opener and then press and activate the Homelink button on the car once more--otherwise the next time it won't open.

2020+ Explorer front differential fluid guide

I think most of us use 75W90 synthetic in the rear because that's what is readily available.

    Ohio?

Thanks. I'll have to go there next. I just didn't think I needed a specialty alignment. I even did the camber adjustment in the rear so they wouldn't tell me they couldn't get the rear in stock range. The real problem at Montrose is they tried to drum up extra charges

    Ohio?

Pro tip: Don't get your car serviced at Montrose Ford. Brought my Explorer to get an alignment, they tried to ring up extra charges by saying my struts needed to come out and rear subframe adjusted for a proper adjustment. In the end they did a shit job (zero'd the toe but no camber...

Check Engine Went Off After Battery Replacement

What codes? If you don't have a code reader, I'd recommend one. It's just something every owner should have for modern cars.

Safe to run bolt-ons without a tune for a little bit?

No tune required for any of those.

    10 vs 14 speaker B&O on 2025 - worth it?

My 2026 came without Sun&Sound so I can only comment on the 10 speaker B&O. Compared to the stock 14 speaker in my 2020, it sounds better. I think the front tweeter location has much to do with that. After adding a subwoofer, I think many will be pleased with the system.

High Mileage Explorer STs check in!

My 2020 ST with 115k miles is officially a total loss. rear ended which also pushed me into the car ahead. I'll be looking into getting a 2026 ST soon...

    Leaking oil?

External seal lasted 40k miles. the red sealant still held, the spray sealant for the area you can't reach is what gave out. Depending on how ling you keep the car and how often you check for leaks, DIY sealing is still an option. Unfortunately, a dealer will probably bill 8 hr just to...

    Leaking oil?

It's tricky but doable. You are basically pushing against the motor mount's own bushing which wants to return the mount to original position which blocks the bolts. I found it harder to reinstall the one blocked intermediate shaft bolt compared to removing it. I reused the bolts that held the...

    Leaking oil?

The sealant will last a while but not forever. I did the FADA delete TSB since I was already removing it, the parts are relatively cheap (intermediate shaft and new axle half shaft) and I have capability to use FDRS for flashing the AWD module. That FordBossMe video explains it and can confirm...

Battery health and resetting the BCM

If you plan to use parking mode much, I would recommend a dashcam battery pack--I have a low end Thinkware iVolt. Even still, you'd want your voltages up while car is running to properly charge those. I must confess I am perplexed by the BMS that Ford is using. Without changing battery SoC...

Winter tire option for 2025 Explorer ST Line with street pack

They should work but if they have TPMS sensors, those will not.

My ST doesn't move after replace used ABS

Don't know about Forscan, but in FDRS, you would do a PMI on the new ABS module to get it to work properly with your vehicle. Edit: check out youtube... some are using Forscan to do the PMI

    Passenger front diff leak

Wifeys-ST, did you use a seal install kit? wondering what a. good one is. I too may have overfilled the front diff fluid. I get some seepage from the seal but waiting to see if goes away. May be doing this too. Thanks TangledPossum for the part#... I couldn't find it searching a Parts site.

    Wheel balance

Not wheel balance causing left, right movement at 1-2mph. Maybe alignment is off?
