I had a few thoughts. First, the Marsh Gray Explorer above definitely does not look gray to me, notice it is next to an older gray explorer for comparison. To me, the Marsh Gray appears to have a subtle green tint, maybe others will disagree:) Second, in regards to the ford "delete button", I wonder, and this is just a theory, if ford removes options that were problematic, so they do not need to continuously fix stuff?

Exactly what I thought with the sunroof to glass panel change.

Ford has always decontented vehicle as they cycle through their current generations. This is nothing new and it is a profit driver for Ford. It only benefits them, not the comsumer.

Which is pretty funny since usually its best to skip the first batch.

This time around, the last ones from the first batch ended up being the one's to buy for all the potential options

Finally, my 2026 Ford Explorer ST is in production! One odd observation, even my window sticker is missing the ST badge, are they trying to save money on red ink? LOL

There are some decent numbers of 2026s on dealer lots. My 2020 was totalled so I was in a hurry to get into a new ST. Thankfully they found one without the sunroof but i had to accept it being black instead of carbonized gray. After 3 weeks of driving now, I love it. The interior and tech are welcome improvements!
