    Interior trim issue

Three whole years of production and they still haven't worked out the fit and finish issues not to mention electrical, software and mechanical issues. Sad! I'm gonna take a really close look at the refreshed 2023 and probably trade my 2020 in for it. I'm hoping they have done major improvements...

    Back-up Camera Issues

I had the recall and about a month later it started again. Then I had the camera replaced and now it rarely goes blue and when it does it's for a second only. Before the camera replacement, it would go blue and wouldn't come back until you restarted the system. I don't use Apple Carplay or...

    Intelligent Access Door Handles

Whatever makes you feel safer! Some people hike in the woods or drive alone with a mask on.

    Intelligent Access Door Handles

That's what I meant by proximity sensor. I think the handle has to be within 3 or 4 feet of the fob. I've tested it before. If he were socially distanced (LOL) he could not open it. I like having the driver's door open only when I am alone. If I'm giving someone a ride, I touch the back door of...

    Intelligent Access Door Handles

There's a proximity sensor so only the person with the fob can open any door. Also you can set it so you can unlock only the driver's door or all doors with one touch. If I touch the passenger door handles all 4 unlock, if I touch only the driver's door handle, driver's door only unlocks. LOVE...

    Door locks have become sentient...

That's normal I believe. Whenever I open the tailgate or the front doors and close them the mirrors unfold.

    Door locks have become sentient...

Not surprising since many of us have had the headlights come on while parked and tailgate opens when walking by or when locking a door.

    Navigation

This would explain a lot because I've noticed that the back-up camera problems were worse during rainy and wet days. Hmmm... Or it could've been a coincidence.

    Navigation

This happened to me once last summer and I had to do a factory reset to get the GPS to return. Until I did that the FordPass and Navigation didn't work.

New Member to the I'm Having Trouble with My ST Club

I had the recall and a new camera installed 2 weeks ago. I've had a blue screen a couple times but what's better so far is that the blue screen lasts a few seconds and goes back to normal unlike before where you had to restart the vehicle to clear the blue screen. I consider that an improvement...

    Seats killing my ass

I've had back and hip problems since I got this ST but I want to believe that it's just a coincidence.

New Member to the I'm Having Trouble with My ST Club

My battery died completely at about 19 months of ownership. They said it was a bad battery and replaced under warranty. I've had many other electrical gremlins with the liftgate opening randomly when walking by or touching the door handle. Also had the lights on in auto mode. That one hasn't...

    Air Conditioning.

I had a 2013 Lincoln MKZ which was colder AC than my 2020 ST so I would leave the temp a few degrees higher for AC and lower for heat. Every car I've owned with auto HVAC system is a little different as far as cooling power especially.

    Air Conditioning.

It's whatever you prefer. I feel a little warm with Auto set to 71 in summer so I like 3 lights all the time. In winter I like 69 degrees and one light.

    Air Conditioning.

It does still do that on mine. I never change the fan speed. It's always on auto and temperature is always perfect. The fan adjusts to warm or cool the interior. It's just that the auto button has 3 lights indicating the default speed when the cabin has reached the desired temperature. Auto...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

There's a small switch on the tip of the wiper stalk that has 3 positions: off, one click up is delay wipe, second click normal speed rear wiper. Also if you push the stalk away from you it washes the rear glass and camera lens. Pulling forward washes your windshield and front camera lens. (if...
