    Reverse Emergency Braking Assist

I've had the opposite problem and so have others. It activates when you're backing up thinking you're gonna hit something. It scares the crap out of you. It feels like you did hit something. With the blue rear camera issue and reverse brake assist not available message there is a recall which I...

    Driving Mode Options..

Recently during snow storms I used Slippery mode which was great. I am in normal 80% maybe 10% Eco, 10% Sport.

    Cup Holder ambient lights

They look great on my 2020 ST but bad design. Any small amount of water or condensation leaks into them and shorts them out. Luckily for me once it dries out it lights up again. I've learned to put a napkin under the cup or bottle so it doesn't happen anymore.

What kind of washer fluid are you using

When my low fluid level warning comes on, I can usually pour an entire gallon of washer fluid to fill it up all the way.

    Weird question?!?

Probably a crack pipe dropped by the assembly line worker in Chicago. He may want it back!

    Backup brake assist

This happens periodically and it's a flaw with the image sensor or whatever determines an obstacle in path. I've noticed it can get triggered by shadows or marking on the pavement. The damn thing is easily confused! So it's either too sensitive or doesn't work at all when the "reverse brake...

    RWD ST

I had a RWD 2003 Infinti G35 sedan. I found that the type of tires I had made a world of difference for traction! But having driven AWD for over 11 years now, I can count at least 3 occasions where it got me home safely when others were stuck sliding in snow banks. I would never go back to 2WD!

    Interior lighting

A total of 3 lights were removed in 2021: glove box and both center console storage bins I believe. I have the cheaper looking interior trim pieces but have all the lights. If I had to choose, I'd choose to have the lights included. Also missing starting in 2021 model year are the heated...

    Roof Rail is fading

Do you guys go to the carwash? My last vehicle 2013 MKZ had gloss black trim on the roof which started to fade in less than 3 years. I noticed on my 2020 ST, my wheels are losing their shine and getting minor scratches from the carwash.

My tailgate is possessed. I need a priest.

Welcome to the Worrier's Club! I just had my 2 year anniversary with the ST this past weekend. I still love it but long-term reliability and durability worry me!

    Back-up Camera Issues

What's interesting is I traveled twice in November leaving the car parked for 5-7 days each time. I noticed I could drive it for several days without having the blue screen problem. Today is the 5th day of driving since Thursday, when I returned after 7 days away, and still no blue screen. Let's...

Problems with Radio, GPS, and Collision Assistance

My GPS failed last summer and I had to do a factory reset. So far it works fine after several months.

GPS Failure & Sync Master Reset

A soft reset is anytime you power off and restart the vehicle or when you press and hold the power and >> button down for 5 seconds, Sync resets. But a factory reset is done through vehicle settings menu.

dumb question, whats button below park brake do?

The dangerous thing about all these features is once you are left without them either because you're driving another vehicle or the system fails, you don't remember how to drive without the features and safety systems.

dumb question, whats button below park brake do?

I like to use everything on the vehicle I paid for. Unfortunately I don't get much use of the second and third row seats, cargo area, towing or off-road capabilities but that is not by choice.

Headlights turn on while parked at night

Mine did this about once a month for several months and hasn't happen in long time.

    Exhaust Recall?

I suspect I have the same problem with mine. Which would explain not only the rattling noise but also the exhaust fume smell.

    Scratched black wheel

These wheals look great but very easily scratch at the car wash or the slightest impact!
