Wow you drive less than half as much as the average which is what mine will have, about 34,000 in 3 years.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Rick, how many miles on your 2020? I'm at almost 33,000 miles and have had several repairs already since the first year. Tomorrow I'm getting the broken driver's seat panel panel replaced and catalytic converters checked for cracks, which I have suspected for a while now. The first year and a...

The Musings of an Old Fart

They also had the middle row console before 2022. You should've bought a 2020! LOL

    Back-up Camera Issues

MIne was replaced back in March and software was reset. The blue screen problem went away until recently. Now it comes back for a few seconds and goes away. Before the old camera would stay blue until you restarted the vehicle. So it's somewhat of an improvement but it sucks when you try to use...

    Exhaust smell

I get that on cold start especially in cold weather. I have to have the catytic converter checked this month when I go in for maintenance and also to get the driver's seat side panel fixed.

    anyone use the auto park

Sometimes it scares me but it's been flawless. I did however curb a wheel past weekend for the first time at 32,000 miles. It hurt me and I almost cried!

If I were asked to redesign the ST...

There's a calm screen and also an off feature in the DISPLAY settings menu on the center screen. When you touch it comes back on as does the calm screen which is just the clock and date.

    Smoking on startup after sitting

My 2013 MKZ 2.0T did a few times at startup but at much higher mileage at about 5 or 6 years old. So far my 2020 ST does not do this.

    New recall?

I've had this for a while now both noise and exhaust smell when cold. I'm gonna have it checked at next oil change along with driver's seat panel break.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

These people just don't get it. You don't have to accelerate. Literally a light tap of the gas releases it. Not even a blip on the tachometer. It's that sensitive. Same goes for the auto-start/stop using auto-hold. Tap the accelerator pedal and the engine restarts. I've used e-brakes with...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

It's barely noticeable on mine and I always set the ebrake. It's better for the transmission and this 10 speed needs to be treated gently as it's not very robust. I've had mine rebuilt at 25K miles.

    Back-up Camera Issues

What they're supposed to do, whether recalled or not, for blue screen rear camera, is to update the ICM software and if that doesn't work, which it didn't for me, replace the rear camera. It has been about 8 months and the camera is working fine.

    Badge replacement

Isn't it something the dealer should fix for you free??? I would just say it fell off if it were mine.

    Black Infotainment Screen

FYI I was having a lot of Sync and Navigation problems last year and late last summer I had to do a factory reset. I later found out that I had breadcrumbs enabled in the Nav settings and that really slowed everything down. This makes sense because the system is constantly working to drop a...

This is just sad but someone on the thread I posted above said the part was redesigned so we'll see.

A New Member of the Broken Seat Club

They significantly changed the seat design in the back and underneath and side panel for 2021 and in another thread there was mention of a new part number for the replacement. (918) Driver Lower Seat Panel - Outboard Side | Page 3 | Explorer ST Forum
