Car & Driver tests $108k 450 hp/6,100 lb Lincoln Navigator. Results as expected ...

Your first question was "Where on earth did they add an extra 1,225 lbs in weight?" It's a completely different vehicle with a larger chassis, trans, motor, etc. It appears that you're comparing the Navigator directly to the Explorer when they are completely different classes of SUV.

Car & Driver tests $108k 450 hp/6,100 lb Lincoln Navigator. Results as expected ...

Navigator is an Expedition. Aviator is an Explorer. The Navigator is a much larger vehicle.

Hell of a deal. Just ordered mine with stainless tips.

    Exhaust Tips

Where did you buy it from under $400? EDIT: Never mind. Saw this link on the gibson thread and ordered mine. https://www.autoanything.com/exhausts-mufflers/gibson-exhaust-systems

    ZFG93 baseline

ZFG has a great calculator that also shows the expected octane. Just make sure you enter the actual ethanol percentage at the pump. For example, the E85 pumps at my local gas station say "E85 (70% ethanol). https://www.tunedbyzfgracing.com/ethanol-calculator

ZFG 93 Tune - Order placed!

You'll be very happy with your choice. I don't know about rev limiter. I asked him to turn off auto/start stop and show gears always and he did it.

    E-15 Gasoline?

My local Kum & Go has 83, 87, 91, E15 and E85 all at the same pump/every pump. You should tune if you want to run higher than E15. I currently run the 91 octane tune from ZFG, which allows you to run up to E30, which I usually do by mixing 12 gallons of 91 with 6 gallons of E85 (70% Ethanol).

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

You had to trim the front lugs for the 1" spacers? I have the same sizes sitting in my garage waiting.

Premium Gas and Full Synthetic Oil..

Luckily I have a great new gas station at the bottom of my canyon that has E85 (70%) and E15 at the same pump with 91, 87 and 85. I've been filling with 6 gallons of E85 and 12 gallons of 91. Just did my second oil change with Mobile1, which I've used in every car I've owned since I was 15. The...

    Well, Well, Well ....

It's a combination; Colorado is a high desert and very dry plus my mountain is solid granite. My neighbor about a quarter mile away had to pay 20k to frack his well and he still has problems.

    Well, Well, Well ....

20 gallons a minute! That's awesome. I have a 150 ft well and I'm at about 2 gallons a minute, which is great up here in Coal Creek Canyon, CO. We're at 8900 ft and our water is redish yellow through spring into the summer because of all the iron. We live on pretty much solid rock. Mostly...

    All weather floor liners

I have the Ford weather mats and they are nice enough. I have weather techs in two of my other cars and I like the Ford mats better.

zfg tune stock tune upload help

My baseline read file on the TDN app reads "Restore-buncha numbers". I think it's titled "restore" so you know that's the factory tune you pulled and that way you can rewrite that in the event you want to return to factory tune. .

    Selling SHO, buying ST.

No dyno needed. The process is pretty simple and straight forward. I did it all through my phone. On my third data log/revision now and I couldn't be more happy with ZFG. Check out ZFG Racing's website. A tune will cost you about 830 bucks if you don't have an RTD or MP12 (hp tuners) device...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I lived out in Lake L.A. for 10 years as a kid. Still have family out in Palmdale, Lancaster and Rosemond. Only thing I miss from out there is the early mornings in the desert, camping and riding dirt bikes. I swapped out my chrome lugs for Black Gorilla lugs today. It makes no sense that they...

So what do you all do?

I'm a Hardware Quality Engineer in Aerospace. I currently have about 20 satellites floating around that I worked on. I spent 4.5 years on the James Webb Space Telescope and inspected every mirror and cryo box along with the entire Aft Optics Subsystem. Been to 5 launches so far. Before that, I...

    ZFG 91 Octane tune

Filled up with 12 gallons of 91 and 6 gallons of e85 @70 percent ethanol just to see how the e30 feels. Right when I got home my first revised tune came through and I loaded her up. I'm as excited to drive to work as I normally to ride my motorcycle to work. And Fyi, anyone waiting on their tune...

13" sub in factory location and rest of stereo upgrade

It looks like it will be significantly smaller than .8 cu ft. Don't get too down on yourself! It's an experience to learn from and gain skill. We all get to learn here too, thanks to you. As Unbroken mentioned, fiberglass is cheap and it may be easier to just start over. It sucks you've dumped...

    ZFG 91 Octane tune

Also, I did everything through the TDN app on my iphone and it worked flawlessly. Great directions.
