2023 ST with oil leaking around right rear tire, coming from the shock?

There is a pic of the shock with a drip of fluid showing on the bottom mount.

First Oil Change - What came out?

I've never used an extractor, to each is their own I guess. If you had any question you possibly weren't getting all of the oil out, you should have puller the drain pan plug to be sure, especially on the first change so you get as much break-in bebris out.as possible. It holds 6 quarts but...

    Scraped a pole... ugh

As a dad of a girl, our #1 priority after they are born is to keep them off, and away from, the pole. Perhaps you dad needed to have that same due dilligence with you :ROFLMAO::LOL:!!!

    Changing a 2025 Taillight

I had the drivers side out on my 25' when I was searching for a place to run an AirLift helper spring bag air line inside the vehicle a few months ago. It wasn't bad at all with (2) screws behind a couple of trim covers and plastic clips holding it in. Remove the screws and pull straight back on...

    Stop Start Eliminator

I bought a 4D Tech start/stop eliminator for my 25' Explorer ST and it failed within 2-weeks and I returned it - they are made in China I believe... Easy to install, yes. Fortunately another company (shown below and made in the USA) I wanted to buy my start stop eliminator from and that I've...

    Scraped a pole... ugh

Same thing going forward. It pisses me off everytime. I think the only way around that is if you hit the parking brake lever to release the break prior to touching the gas pedal. It releases the break and you can roll.

    Scraped a pole... ugh

Well, while that does suck, I think the cost for you scraping the pole is still a lot cheaper than what many guys have had to pay for getting together with a woman that swings on a pole..

    Differantial Bolts

Travis is a good dude! I've communicated with him a few times and bought stuff from him. His video on removing the rear springs is awesome. I used his method last weekend when I added the Traxda lift. The way the Traxda video shows you how to get the springs in and out is completely freakin...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

They are Kentrol, stainless bumpers. I added (2) 1 1/4" hitch receivers facing down on the front, and (2) at the rear of the truck. Then I made aluminum bracketry to attach to the bumpers, and to go up inside the hitch receivers on the truck to mount the bumpers. The bumpers are removeable by...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Thank you! Its a 2004. I ordered it brand new and built the hell out of it. It doesn't quite have 17,000 miles on it in 21 years.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

4-Wheel alignment was done today from the small lift over the weekend. Friday, I'm getting the front windshield and the front drivers and passengers windows ceramic tinted. I'm going as light as possible (I believe its 50%) because the side dirvers and passengers windows already have a light...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Getting the bags inside of the coils is always a PIA on any vehicle so I would say getting them inside of the Explorer coils was normal and not any different than any other vehicle. The real time killer was routing the air lines. If you were to use the supplied Schrader valve and mount it...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

The Traxda lift is complete. It looks "normal" and how Explorer's use to look years ago, It doesn't look lifted at all. When the tires wear out I will move up to 31.5" or 32" but that is a ways down the road.

    Caliper Color

Any coating on the calipers will retain a bit of extra heat, paint, powdercoat, etc. - Its all an added layer keeping heat in. Would I worry about it personally, not for a second. Just my $.02 - On my truck I wire wheeled and throughly cleaned my calipers with mineral spirits and alcohol. Then...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Its what I like. Some like lowering and some don't. The only off-roading I do with it is during deer season. I have lots of other toys for real off-roading. I hate the look of stock or lowered vehicles plus I like the added height for towing. I have AirLift air bags in the rear which help it to...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I installed the rear portion of my Traxda lift today. I also installed my Steeda rear subframe bushing insert supports and my JXB, single rear bushing insert, and new 12.9, M14 X 130mm bolt through the insert and into the rear differential. I will do the front lift tomorrow and get an alignment...
