That's what I did lol. Have DP's and Thermal exhaust on order. Wonder if my Explorer will show up before or after the exhaust.

Good news that they actually saw it. My favorite dealer response is "problem not found" or "could not duplicate". At least now they should eventually figure it out. Good Luck!

I haven't been able to do anything yet as I don't have my Explorer yet. But I have succeeded in receiving two or three packages a week in anticipation of my Explorer lol First time I have ever bought parts for a car I don't have yet.

Definitely seems to be no rhyme or reason some get earlier dates and some get dragged out for months. Some with the same packages even.

We must just be special :cool:

Wow. Just got an email from Ford. My production week has been moved from March 7 to Feb 7. Ordered 12/28. Needless to say I am stoked.

Same config plus ST pack. I believe tbey will be scheduling a lot between last week and next week to make up for no activity at end of year. Hopefully you get an update next week. Either that or you have a low priority dealer. Even once scheduled there is no promise parts will be available...

The rotten egg smell suggests a leak pre-cat IMO. But then again new cars can give off strange smells when everything is initially burned off the exhaust. Good luck finding the issue.

Excellent point! Ran a staggered setup on my CTSV stock. When I got a set of road racing wheels and tires I went with a square setup just so I could rotate track tires and get a few more sessions out of them.

Nothing wrong with a staggered setup. To be honest, I would have to see it to comment.

Water Wetter is a surfactant I believe. You only use a little. Supposedly it allows the fluid to better contact the aluminum and transfer heat better. No doubt Evans is expensive. I would not recommend using it unless you were trying to address a specific issue like boiling coolant...

This is true. I believe distilled water and water wetter gives you even better heat transfer. But no boil/freeze protection and no corrosion protection. Used to run Evans Coolant in my dirt bike. The 450 4 stroke would overheat in the tight woods and the Evans doesn't boil until something...

Good to hear. My dealer said they had 25 Explorers scheduled this week after two months of not much action. Hopefully Ford is getting a handle on the shortages. Then again anything can happen the next 7 weeks.

Just got an update. Ordered 12/28 Today received a build week March 7 Thought that was reasonable but then again it is not built yet either!
