I think it does both but gets confused sometimes. My 2013 used only the GPS for speed limit and it made a lot of mistakes and also I was too cheap to update the nav software. LOL

The camera is reading certain signs wrong. But the other funny thing is when on a main road, it sometimes reads the lower speed limit of the parallel service road and adjusts.

The REAL MPG is about 1.5 to 2 MPG lower than what the trip computer says on the instrument panel. Just yesterday my dash said 18.5 and actual MPG was 16.3 MPG.

I've noticed that if you're too light on the gas pedal from a stop, it actually shifts rougher than if you put some gas into it.

Most people with this have said it's the bottom cushion which shifts laterally on turns especially fast ones. I'm thinking mine is too. When you grab the cushion it will slightly move left and right.
