    Headlamp Switch Changes Position

My knee is no where near the knob when entering or exiting the vehicle though.

    Headlamp Switch Changes Position

On about 3 occasions in the past few months, I noticed a warning chime as I entered the vehicle. The first time it happened I didn't realize until I was driving away in broad daylight that my headlights were on. I always leave it in Auto mode. One time I noticed that the LED indicator was off...

    Chrome on window switches

At 11,000 miles, I am not experiencing this but I rarely open any of my windows when driving, so maybe that's why. I would estimate I open my driver's window no more than 5 times per week.

Towed to Dealer After Engine Stopped

In almost 11 months, I drove the ST every single day until last Sunday. I got it back this morning and 5 days without it made me realize why I fell in love with it despite its flaws! It was such a blast to drive and handles better than much smaller vehicles like the Fusion loaner I drove for the...

Towed to Dealer After Engine Stopped

They ordered a new fuel pump today and got me in a loaner car. As a funny side note, today as I was speaking on the phone with the service advisor and he told me the tech was able to diagnose the problem and had listed parts on my work order but did not see what they were, my FordPass app blew...

    2nd row seat issue

I had this happen when the vehicle was brand new. It was a stuck button. It was literally stuck in and would activate the seat release at random times, like entering the vehicle, while it was parked or while driving. It would sometimes scare the crap out of me, like there was some in the car. I...

Towed to Dealer After Engine Stopped

Today I was leaving my house going up a hill and the engine stopped and wouldn't restart. I called Roadside Assistance and they said maybe it is out of gas even though I told them the gauge indicated about 3 gallons left. They sent a tow truck company with 2.5 gallons of gas but it still...

    CHECK ENGINE LIGHT/ DISASTER AVERTED

A woman at the dealership with an ST told me she had all of her coolant drain out early on because of loose parts under the hood. They refilled it and tightened it up for her. I guess some of us have bad luck! I had check engine light twice, at 2000 and at 4000 miles, and a PCM reprogram/update...

Aluminum Hood and Liftgate Ding Easily!

Take it from me, this car dings very easily! Last week it was the first acorn falling season with my 10 month old ST and my neighbor's tree did a number on my beautiful truck. Over 6 little dings in the hood and hatch in one night. When I realized and moved it, it was too late sadly. Apparently...

    LED low beams so dark

Mine are just fine after driving a 2013 MKZ with adaptive headlights for many years. I don't miss the gimmicky swiveling beams! LOL

    Camera Recall

I've done this before on my own the past year but then I found out about the Sync reboot method by just pushing and holding power and >> button on the audio controls. Both essentially do the same thing.

    Liftgate won't close

Mine did this once when I was cleaning all the interior glass surfaces for a while. The rear hatch would not close using any of the buttons. Once I started the car up it started working fine again. I think it was some sort of battery saving feature.

    New ST in Maryland

Funny coincidence my first road trip with the ST was also Harper's Ferry last December to see the train derailment! I missed the brewery and I must try that soon as I love local beers!

    New ST in Maryland

Yesterday I think I saw you on I-270 at Montrose Rd! I was in my Rapid Red ST which I've had almost 10 months and 10,000 miles today with no issues! Love this thing! Congratulations!

At which point should you use SLIPPERY Mode?

I used slippery mode once or twice in heavy rain and using the 4-wheel-drive display on the dash you can see that the power goes more evenly to front and rear wheels rather than rwd bias with front assist in normal, eco and sport modes.

Name ONE ST Feature others might not know.....

Most noticeable are the nav maps load much faster. I still have problems with the Sirius XM logos not loading or loading slowly and/or disappearing.

Name ONE ST Feature others might not know.....

I noticed a few font changes too especially on the calm screen which I never use. Everything is now on the same font it seems.

The temperature at the top corners of the display are gone too since the update!

Eco vs Normal in city driving

I call Eco Mode Minivan Mode. LOL Such a boring experience but quiet and smooth.

Who's been using the Auto Hold feature?

I leave this feature on at all times and love it but when I drive another vehicle without it I have to remember not to let off the brake and let it roll... OMG it happens all the time!
