My wife and it fully loaded (moonroof, premium tech, high performance, roof rails) and are going to be really... really... disappointed if we have to take some of these features off or they force us to.

Are they automatically removing features without consent because that is going to really irritate my wife! I really wanted the seats, but I also don't want to wait a year for the vehicle.

Does anyone else have a fully loaded (with moon roof and "massage seats") and have received a build date? When did you order?

The multi-contour seats are my big worry, if that's missing I may not buy the car. That's one feature I was really looking forward to and I felt as if it made it more of a premium vehicle. Replacing the 8-way with 10-way seats and a $300 credit doesn't make up for that feature in my view.

That's exactly what I'm thinking!
$300 does not account for the cost of my expectations as well as buying the ST over a Jeep L!

My wife and I looked at the 5.7L Jeep L with the Hemi and ultimately we went with the ST because it had similar performance and features... but now with all of these feature deletes I'm starting to feel real uneasy.

Mine took exactly 5 months from order yo delivery.

Mine is still in "processing" as well. Ordered on February 14th...priority 10. 401A, street pack...Atlas Blue. At this point, I can do without the massage seats to be honest. Can the dealership "edit" my order at this point to take that option off?

I'm still waiting. Ordered in October went into production November. It has been sitting in the Chicago Auto Auction since January.

Me too! I ordered in July and it’s sitting at Manheim auto auction. It will be ten months on May 1st.

Crazy! I talked to a lady from Ford experience last week and she told me it's on the last lot. She said they were "working" on that lot now. Mine is still listed as in production.

Well it looks like I was wrong. I thought the 401A package included the premium tech package as the ford website shows it's an included package, but now I see in my build it has the 8" screen and no multi-contour seats. It looks like an explorer isn't happening for me unless they bring the seats back for 2023 if I haven't gotten something else by then. I'm so disappointed.

Update .......... got another e-mail from Ford today saying my production has been bumped up to the week of May 9 instead of May 30th. Interesting ....

What number did you call? I call the Ford customer service number and they never have any news to tell me!

Same. Never anything useful. No dates or place in order or information regarding why I haven’t been scheduled. It’s pretty sad to be honest. If they were more transparent I probably wouldn’t be regretting my purchase. I have a very sour taste in my mouth regarding Ford.

strange turn of events, was out for a drive in my Camaro and happened to pass a Ford dealer so I thought I’d see if they have any ST’s. Ended up buying one with all the options I was looking for! Unfortunately though I can’t take it home until the recall is done.

They waived the market adjustment if I paid for the paint/interior protection, so out the door it was like $1.5k more, so not that bad.

  • Ordered '22 ST (401A, moonroof, tech pack, 4wd) on 11/24/2021 (confirmed same day)
  • Rec'd VIN on 12/2/2021 w/ production date on 2/7/2022
  • Prod date changed to 1/17/2022 (via email received on 12/26/2021), still no window sticker available yet.

More movement on mine today (1/22/2022).
Via the Ford tracking site it has a "In production" date of 1/21/22, and est. delivery of Feb 9.

On Sat. (4/23/22) I took matters into my own hands because I was done with the unknown and patience simply ran out.

Found a '21 Aviator that fit the needs that the ST order was going to fill and bought it. So, if anyone in the Twin Cities area is looking for a loaded Stone Blue ST I can connect you with my sales person, she'll have a cancelled order.

Last I heard :rolleyes: the delivery was still suppose to be early May.
