230km/h or 143mph
She didn't seem to want to go higher but maybe I just didn't stay in it long enough. Things are going very quick at that speed and I think I'd like to do a few more things to get her feeling more planted. She felt a bit like she was floating and that was scary for me.
Every car magazine that has tested the ST reports the same 143mph top speed. They all claim it's governed at that.

Waved as it drove off to Tucson this morning without me. It will be back on Monday. First long trip & I'm home alone with the dog. According to the nav system it's 520 miles door to door.

Why is it out in AZ without you? Sorry I missed the post explaining this.

That makes sense. I guess I'm happy I hit the max. Seriously don't think I need her to be any faster. I'll probably never get it up to that speed again. Man, I absolutely love this Explorer!

Still needs a slight adjustment...

lts amazing! They did the same to mine. So much for FORD certified techs. The guys at my performance shop caught it when I had them install Steeda springs.

I've been fortunate throughout my GM years to have established relationships with service and parts people. Enough so that I was comfortable with them working on my vehicles and I got my parts at close to internet pricing.

I asked the dealer I bought my ST from if he wanted to give me a price on installing an intercooler and lowering springs. He told me they couldn't do that without voiding my warranty. I told him I wasn't expecting coverage on the intercooler or springs and he gave me a song and dance about warranty problems. And he was one of the owners. So I'm on the hunt for a reasonable Ford dealer in Chicagoland as well and I will end up doing all the work myself.
When I had Speed Inc. install my springs they only charged 400.00 which was a very good deal to me, and much cheaper than the dealer (of course)

Seems 4-5 hours is the going rate. Not looking forward to doing mine. Fortunately I'm waiting on my blacked our emblems so my procrastination is somewhat justified.

ST on the way back from Tucson.. nav system totally failed to warm of traffic on the 10 & as the phone is synced with the ST it wouldn't allow it to access Waze because "it could cause the driver to be distracted" WT actual F?
Pulled up Waze at home, Solid red along the 10 from Palmsprings to damn near Redlands... & she'd already been in it for an hour by the time she got to the exit for Coachella

oh wait.... was that this weekend?

ST is home. 1137 miles total, averaged 25.1mpg. No issues apart from whatever the hell happened to the traffic/nav deal not warning about gridlock on the 10. Works fine around this area though...

We now think the nav system doodad DID work in trying to warn of bad traffic on the 10 West of PalmSprings by trying to change the route North from Phoenix to the 40 instead of West on the 10... except it didn't mention the traffic issues so it appeared that nav system forget how to get from Tucson to Lancaster.
