Anyone else out there waiting for a intercooler? This is starting to get old now. I reached out to whipple and they said they are two weeks out. I've been waiting for a month now.

Same. From what I've read and from people I've talked to, they say it will be like this until 2nd or 3rd Q of 22

Dumb parts should come back sooner, if it has anything to do with any type of processor q2 or q3 of next year is a very real possibility. The companies that have up their allocation for semiconductors last year will be on the back foot maybe even longer than that.

Aluminum is crazy hard to get right now. I wonder if that’s why things like this IC are delayed?
We go through thousands of lbs a week...our lead times used to be days to a couple of weeks tops...we’re at 16 weeks right now. It’s nuts.

That's a good point, raw material demand is crazy right now.

Yep it's bad for raw materials. We're getting ready for new molds at work, and resin lead times are up from a week to 4-6 months. Even basic ABS is almost 2 months. Thankfully the new PCBAs we need use in-stock semiconductors, otherwise my project would be screwed!

We are renovating (small job) our house and the carpenters had to reprice 2 times in the few months because lumber is they the roof. Especially the unique pieces (meaning glue lam, long 2x12, stuff you don’t necessarily got to Home Depot).

Locally we are seeing a huge demand in housing, while at the same time, there aren't enough people to work the construction jobs. There are several new subdivisions around me which managed to get foundations poured early last year, and those foundations are still sitting there. Sure housing prices are going up, but in many cases the cost for materials, lumber and labor is causing those builders to decide that they might not even be able to produce a profit. So, the circle continues. Same thing with aluminum, semiconductors, etc. We are bound to see a lot of inflation in the foreseeable future.

Americans need to start building, manufacturing, and working. We have enough financial advisors! What we need are electricians, plumbers and skilled craftsman. So what if it costs more you get what you pay for. US made capacitors or Chinese Junk. Just one example.

i hope thats the case for some of the retailers. talked to Whipple direct on Friday and they said the next batch is 5-6 weeks out... they were going to hang onto a few for direct sales but said resellers had pretty much spoken for the entire batch... someone else REALLY needs to get into the game.

Well ford decided to use rivets on the bottom six holes for the shroud on the 2021. Had to cut them out and going to have to find some bolts for it now. Shit
