Looking to get back into a new ST, I wanted to see what has changed in terms of how you tune them? Can I use an SCT tuner still?
A lot of what you’re describing sounds like people jumping ahead of what the data is actually telling them.
Before even worrying about which tune or numbers, you want to make sure the logs are complete and consistent. If you’re missing things like AFR/Lambda, knock activity, or load/throttle in the same pull, it’s really easy to misread what’s going on.
A lot of “good” or “bad” results people talk about come down to incomplete data or inconsistent logging more than the tune itself.
If you haven’t already, I’d focus on getting a clean, repeatable log with all the key channels first, then evaluate from there.
