Great information. This is exactly what I don't want happening - getting a tune and then having to resolve a false knock issue (or fixing something else). I'll continue thinking about it, but I appreciate the candid feedback.

What issues (if you don’t mind sharing)? And were they caused by the tune? I’m especially interested since I’m considering GHT.

I’m in Texas and considering visiting Gearhead and getting a custom tune next week. Something about the questionable build quality of my ST has me nervous about installing a tune. Let me know if you’ve had any issues (especially powertrain) after installing your tunes!

Does anyone know of any aftermarket hood options? Specifically, I’m looking for a ram air hood or something similar (doesn’t have to be functional, just look nice). I don’t want to install a stick on or bolt on hood scoop to my existing hood. Thanks!

Thanks for your comments today. Got all the way to the end and the hood wouldn’t latch - it looked like the latch assembly was too low. In any event, I’ll be taking it in to have it looked at.

I’m just having a hell of a time getting the main piece with the grill shutters back on. Something doesn’t seem right. I’ll keep trying…

Thanks for the quick response, and correct. Any tips on how to get that clip back in? The left was hard but I got it in. It almost feels like the right will be impossible.

Anyone have issues with the top of the shroud seating correctly when putting everything back together? The right side on mine wouldn’t go back into place. Any help is appreciated. Happy 4th!

Mine will do this on occasion but only after a cold start. It’s usually a rough idle that seems to be coming from the flex pipes in the exhaust.

GearHead, I started it up this morning and all of the speakers were working again. I did the Sync update OTA last week and am not sure if that had anything to do with it. If it happens again and doesn't resolve itself, I'm definitely going to try a SYNC reset. Thanks for the suggestion.

This evening, most of the speakers in my ST stopped working. Now, the chimes and warning sounds are muffled and you can hardly hear anyone when talking through bluetooth. It seems like only the top door speakers work (maybe the middle speaker in the dash too) but nothing else. Has anyone ever...

Interesting - a day or two after I bought mine earlier this month, I noticed a metal on metal noise on startup when cold. I’m scheduled to take it into the dealer on Monday to get a loaner while the dealership addresses it. I was at my brother’s today. showing him my ST and noticed a crossmember...

UPDATE: I just drove it and the fuel gauge actually went up while driving. It’s now about 1/16 from full. The mileage until empty also went up - if this mileage is correct, it means there’s about 16 gallons in the tank after this morning’s fill up. I may take it into the dealership tomorrow morning.
