Driver seat “clicking” - Driving me nuts!

Has anyone else experienced the driver seat making a clicking noise anytime your weight shifts in the seat? Any turn I make causes it to click and I can reproduce by just wiggling my butt in the seat while stopped. I know exactly the location of it and I can stop it entirely by applying firm...

    Interior creaks and rattles

Can you share more info about the drivers seat issue and what the fix was? I have the loud pop/click sound coming from drivers side…can’t pinpoint where it is. Basically only happens when the car leans one way or the other when turning…like something is shifting. Sounds like maybe seat or door...

    Interior creaks and rattles

That is great that you resolved the issue! With the temps hot here now the noise has been driving me nuts again on our '21. I'd love to be able to do this as well, but I'm always nervous about taking interior trim apart...always think some plastic piece is going to break or something. Any video...

    295/35/21. Anyone try?

Tire width is measured in mm. So 295 is about .78" wider than 275. 2.5" wider tire would be like a 335 width.

2023 Explorer images leaked (from China)

Yeah, I haven’t seen any hint at what may make it stateside. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see some of it here though…the Explorer is due for a mid-cycle refresh. The Telluride and Palisade just got theirs.

2023 Explorer images leaked (from China)

You guys seen the "leaked" photos of the refreshed 2023 Explorer in China? No word yet on how much of the changes will make it to the US (apparently their Explorer already had some big differences from ours). That new screen is...interesting? I do like some of the exterior changes though...no...

Driver Lower Seat Panel - Outboard Side

We just had ours replaced on both sides for the first time 2 weeks ago. They broke about 6 months after we got the car. So far the new ones SEEM to be much more firmly attached to the seat...but could just be because I was so used to them being broken for so long. We will see how long these...

    Blade antenna color

I noticed this difference too. Our '21 ST has a black antenna on our Rapid Red. But there is a Rapid Red ST in the parking lot of my wife's work that has a color matched antenna. I don't know which model year it is however.

    New ST, brake pedal noise?

As far as I have seen, no one has been successful in getting a dealer to fix the brake pedal noise. :(

0-60 Times w/no brake tq (Stomp & go)

I was thinking the same thing. Stock STs should do a 5.1 or 5.2 0-60...so 6.5 seconds stock is practically XLT 4-cylinder territory. :( That's a lot of negative performance mods!

    Bang and Olufsen opinion?

Interesting! Hadn't heard about this. Ours is a March 2021 build...so it would fall into this category I guess. I'll ask about this when I bring the car back in to get the passenger seat panel replaced (if the part ever arrives!).

    Forscan Auto Start/Stop turn off?

Wow! I need to try this! My wife and I can't stand that feature. We are in the habit of pushing the button to turn it off every time we get in, but we still manage to forget 10-20% of the time. lol Was this newly added to Forscan? I thought awhile back it wasn't an option in there. I don't see...

When did Ford remove the temperature display from HVAC controls?

It was removed for the 2022 model year (our 2021 has the displays). I believe I read somewhere this was due to the chip/parts shortage. No idea if they will bother to add it back at some point...my guess is no. I think the 2 displays are nice to have and look better.
