Liquid's custom wireless charging phone mount (pics)

Pictured: two USB outlets integrated to the driver's kick panel; one switched for the dashcam and one constant for the phone mount. Used fuse taps, don't remember which fuses I tapped but I read it here on explorerst.org! Not pictured: burying the USB cables under the steering column and...

The VHB lasted almost a year before starting to come loose. Glad I left myself a screw hole [coolsmile]

Resolved: Driver's seat back moves by itself

Driver's seat back would move by itself sometimes after selecting a different memory setting and then driving for a few seconds. It could be reproduced by selecting a different memory seat setting (1/2/3 on door panel) between vehicle on/off cycles. For example, wife would get in after I had...

RESOLVED: Clicking: P to D (video)

Just got mine back from the dealer for this loud "clink" or metallic popping noise heard outside the car during parking maneuvers and low speed hilly driving. Replaced Axle Assembly Rear (L1MZ-4000-D) which is $868 retail; thankfully I'm still under warranty. Technician notes on my receipt...

I picked up a picnic table (tablecloth) clip from the hardware store and it's been working fine

First a Marauder, now an ST!

Ha awesome I sold my '03 Marauder (with Trilogy kit) in 2017 and swore that would be the last black car I would ever own. Welcome and cheers [loveboost]

What to do with the slot in front of the cup holders?

Fingernail clippers and nail file - I almost always have a nail file nearby and it's especially useful with this car where the "cheese grater" speaker cover near the window controls can easily create a jagged fingernail.

Liquid's custom wireless charging phone mount (pics)

Cobbled together a custom wireless charging setup and so far I am very pleased with the results—very little vibration/wobble, easy to read at speed and manipulate if necessary, and catches some of the vent air to keep the Qi charger cool. I already had most of the pieces so I really only had to...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Yesterday I installed the 2nd set of black Gorilla 96643BDX lug nuts (the 1st set only shipped with 19 nuts ) then today I had 35% Xpel HP applied to the front row windows, and clear Xpel PPF applied to the headlights and fogs at Sunshade in Troy MI. I wanted the fogs tinted but Eric talked me...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Thanks for the pic. I've been on the fence about it and you have the same paint & wheels. May need to wait a month to let my credit card cool off [giggle]

    Driver's Side Window Issue

Mine was backing down as soon as the auto-up hit the top. Google search basically said to hold the switch up and/or down for a couple seconds once it reaches the limit; there's a demonstration video here: Fixed it for me - let us know if it works

    Black lug nuts

Heads up everyone; if you go with the Gorilla 96643BDX black locking lug nuts (M14x1.5 bulge) make sure you count them before starting your installation. My package (plastic wrapped, new from Amazon) only had 19 nuts [8] and I had already done three of four wheels when I realized the error. I...

    Moonroof wind deflector pics

One of the springy arms that hold up the wind deflector was missing on my 2020 ST so the dealer salesman brought me one off another car and helped me replace it (terrifying thought, I know). Turns out there are no tools required but I couldn't find any pics online so I'm posting mine here for...
