This weekend was the 12th annual Aggieland money round sound quality competition. For the 2nd time I barely missed the top 10…I got 11th by 2 points on a 0-1200 point scale so it was stupid close. The top 18 cars are either current or former national championship winners or winners/top 10 finishers at this event. I was ahead of 2 cars that have won it and another that did a top 10. All that to try to paint a picture of how stout the competition was this weekend. To even be in the same conversation as those cars is an honor…I’ll sleep just fine tonight with my 11th place spot.

Amazing install work as always! Congrats on the recent wins.

Do you think moving the tweeters from the stock location to the sail panels would make much of a difference, leaving everything else in stock locations? I am running a Focal Flax 3-way active setup. Thanks.

Unless you have a DSP to dial them in I’d leave them where they are.

I am running a helix DSP.3s and Mosconi pro amps, along with a zen a2b.

I still think the gains would be minimal. There’s some pretty hard-core reflection issues to deal with on the sail panels. I’ve been fighting them for years and should give up and move them, but I like the way they look there.

copy that. Appreciate the insight. I’ll leave them alone. Thanks.

I love a wide tire which is why I only ran 305’s and 315’s when I had the 22’s. Nobody makes a 305/40/21 so I tried to like 295/40’s…it’s just not happening for me so today I ordered a set of 315/40/21’s. I can’t wait to get these mounted up. IMG_0216.jpeg
