What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I purchased a UPR catch can, but the orange Ford quick connects have to come off. UPR says to heat the two ends of the tube so the Ford orange connectors can be pulled out and insert the new ones included in the UPR kit. Is a hairdryer hot enough to use or is it better to use a heat gun? I know those heat guns can do some serious damage if you're not careful. Honestly, I've never used one; I've always had good luck with the wife's hairdryer.

They work ok? I looked at them in my ST and I'm unsure if there's enough room to even get anything under the edge of the quick connect, especially the end down by the turbo. I'm dreading this part!

Installed the Steeda Vertical Link Supports today. They were a tight fit, needed channel locks to press into place. I double-checked the arrows too. Did not take too long.

I agree. More difficult than expected to get those things in the right position.

I have not tried it but thought maybe try it prior to see if ti would be an option before either buying the UPR can or using heat. You could also go JLT and get a good amount of collection from that.
