305/40/22 Anybody Rubbing?

Some do…some don’t. Some tires run wide…some run narrow. There’s minor variances in the way cars go together. Kinda crappy but you won’t know until you do it.
Why did you get rid of the 315s? Issues?

Why did you get rid of the 315s? Issues?
They went up to $2700 a set plus mount and balance and barely lasted 15K miles. Even I have my limits.

If you're AWD it won't work. .6 inch difference in tire diameter will screw with the system.

Yup saw that - Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

So Discount tire is ordering these for me Defender LTX M/S2 305/40/22 will test fit them - if they rub then we will find another solution what a F***ing PITA

Yeah I moved off from those pieces of crap, waste of money, junk…

Went with the Michelin pilot sport 4AS 305/40R22 one of the most highly rated tires you can buy for your Explorer ST, quiet, gripping technology high mileage tires. Picking them up today they had to be specially ordered from Michelin direct.

I've got these on my Mustang GT, and man, I regret ever having summer tires. Sure, if I lived in Florida, I'd use summers only. But the best AS was good enough for the Corvette C8, so it's good enough for me
