Running port injection, could be beneficial if its done in a cost effective way, and have a good way to tune it.
If done right you wouldn't need to even upgrade the HPFP, youll use the stock HPFP to control low to mid engine loads, and have the port injection come on at higher engine loads to give you plenty of head room on fueling.

Depending on the injector size, you would be able to run e85 on a stock turbo setup and keep the HPFP at I optimal operating range.
Upgraded turbo setups would be a different ball game, you might have to upgrade the HPFP atleast 1 step above stock, run 6 1300cc or maybe 6 1600cc injectors to be able to run e85..

Probably the key factor is the tuning. I've seen no tuners yet willing to support port injection. At least not the ones listed here in the forum.
I wanted to go with the upgraded fuel system (HPFP, Inj) but in my case, it definitely isn't pocket friendly. I've got the upgraded turbos and probably going to upgrade to E50 from 93DMS because the stock fuel components can handle it. Going to E85 is going to net only 25 more HP than E50 and is not worth the extra 4K+ to go that distance. E50 should take me into the 10s. I'm not tracking or hard launching so E50 would def be sufficient.
