I'd say after this last tweak to the 10R60, I am leaving it alone. She runs very well!

I went back and asked for the 1–2 and 2–3 shifts in Sport mode to be softened a bit. Even once everything was warmed up, they were still a little too aggressive for my taste. It’s perfect now. I may go back and ask for the same adjustment on the 4–5 shift in Sport mode, but honestly, it’s not bad most of the time.

I’m usually in Normal mode unless I’m hitting on-ramps or dealing with afternoon stop-and-go traffic. Sport mode just works better around town and when I need to get in and out of traffic quickly.

And yes, even in normal, she moves...

I just did the same, mine are uncomfortable.

Once he took a little "heat" out of all of the shifts, Im happy with sport mode.

One thing that bothers me with the transmission is how aggressive it is to get to high gear even when going 40mph. Hogging the engine at under 2k rpm in a high gear I feel its not good for it when light on the gas. The trans wont downshift unless I goose the gas more, then it shifts right back into hogging mode. I tend to manually downshift a lot to keep the rpm in a zone where it wont hog when going light on the gas. I wonder if that's something that the transmission can be tuned for. Like never go into 10th gear when going 40 mph or below.

Sport mode keeps you in lower gears. Huge difference in mine. The shifts are firm in sport but not slamming. Plus if you are ZFG tuned you should be able to get them to dial it in how you like it.

This is inherent programming to save fuel. As long as there's not a load on the engine, it will search for the highest gear to keep it in efficient RPM. When it perceives a load, (acceleration or an upgrade/incline) it will downshift.
As Cruising68 mentioned, sport mode will alleviate that. Also true that if you're tuned by ZFG, they can optimize shifting to your liking in normal mode.
