Got my FenFab pipes installed... opted to swap out the non-BOV cold side for one with the HKS simply as an abundance of caution. Hoping I can't hear it in the vehicle.

I added a standard FP hitch cover. I wasn't impressed with some of the 3D-printed options on Amazon; the red didn't match, and the way they clip in would likely cause rattling. The more stylish ones cost $400 to $500, which seems overpriced, especially since I just bought a new range for $1,500. I'll stick with the tried-and-true boring option; it works just fine. FP.jpg

Today was a big day, I did some playing around last week to so I’ll add that one in. Last week was CVF intercooler, this week was CVF downpipes and a retune from Matt at Gearhead. Downpipes… proud of myself for this one, I did them with weight on the ground all 4 corners, fronts on ramps, did not drop the subframe! Driver side took all of 30 minutes, passenger side not so much, but removing the heat sheild made it easier I think, and getting the car hot helpped to. You can clearly see the nut you need if you peek at just the right angle through the wheel liner, I put a hand dandy headlamp on the subframe pointing at the nut, once I could see what I was doing, it was cake. Props to Matt at GH, he’s tuned my explorer from the beginning, and I’ve been impressed from the beginning! Those of you looking for something other than ZFG he’s your man!

Added the sides under the rubber seal. These did require some modification to fit.
