JXB trans mount ordered from a fellow member. ZFG 93 tune installed for about 2 weeks and loving it. Much better driving dynamics

Installed Eibach 30mm spacers in the rear and Steeda 1 inch spacers up front, Trimmed 4mm off the front studs. Gave her a quick wash and wax. IMG_5985.jpg IMG_5984.jpg

Thermal 2.5" with black tips. I dropped it off an hour ago, and they are already done. I've used this shop for 20+ years, and when he called, the guy said he was surprised that, for a 6-cylinder, it actually has a really great sound—picking up at lunch. I'll be glad for those dinky chrome tips to be gone. I'm just not overly impressed with the chrome and this color wheel tint combo. Larger black tips will be an improvement.

Just picked it up and drove it back. Black tips match so much better. Cold start is nice and sounds good when given a little more juice. Turbo sound is definitely up. The best part is, at cruise on 85 and 80, it's quiet. Maybe a hair of rumble on a hill, but other than that, just what I hoped for. Good job, Thermal.

@ STeiner:

It's been about 2 months since your Axle Back Gibson's went on. Any issues, complaints, comments; can you answer yes or no whether you would do it again and why? I am especially concerned about drone and increase noise outside and inside your vehicle within the first few months post install.

Been really enjoying my dp's and thermal 3" exhaust. Love the sound, but alas as many other folks have concluded that after a bit of fun with them, maybe a little mellowed out is in order. I still wanted awesome sound, just a little bit of the throaty/rasp taken out and to not sound like I'm WOT at 1/5 throttle. Just had a pair of Vibrant resonators installed. Couldn't be happier with the results! Pretty much eliminated the rasp, while still having sweet engine sounds play through. I opted for the smaller bottle version. They also have a larger oval "ultra quiet" version as well.

Do you remember what length resonator you were able to fit? I think this section of the thermal has a clamp there.
