Hello,

DB from Minnesota. 2022 Explorer ST with all the bolt-ons, Whoosh Stage X's on the way and Nostrom Stage 3 fuel system in production, all under ZFG tunes. I've learned a lot here.
Welcome aboard

Hey Everyone! Currently overseas, but Ordered a 2027 Explorer ST w/sinister, Sun & Sound, and securicode packages through MIlitary Auto source and happy to finally become part of the team.

I've had a 2015 Fiesta ST, A 2017 Focus RS, 2020 Mustang GT, 2018 Ford F150 Raptor, and many more before going over seas. Now finally about to return and wanted to get into the ExST. Been following along and really impressed with the platform. The wife has a 2019 Edge ST so needless to say we are ford fans. Lol

Hello from Columbus, Ohio. I just purchased a 2026 Explorer ST AWD with Sun and Sound, Keyless Keypad, and Spare Tire in Carbonized Gray Metallic. It's my first modern Ford (we had a 66 and 73 Mustangs and a 1979 F150 growing up) and I'm looking forward to the performance of the ST having come most recently from a Honda Pilot. I used to own a Subaru WRX a few years back and the ST has a similar interior and seems like a great combination of a practical family vehicle and a little fun. The Subaru was fun, but not practical, haha. Drove about 250 miles today and was impressed. Looking forward to getting past break-in miles and opening her up a little!

@TempeST :

Welcome Aboard!!

Can you please share some pics of the "Sinister" part of your new ride (when it arrives). From what little I know, you think you are the first here to have that package and we all love to see pictures.

Hi everyone,

My name is Dimitri de Klerk, and I'm joining the forum from the Netherlands.

I recently became the owner of a Ford Explorer PHEV ST Line and I'm looking forward to learning more about the vehicle from people who know it inside and out. I've always enjoyed cars, and I like doing my own research, learning new things, and keeping my vehicles in great condition.

Outside of cars, I'm a social entrepreneur, a husband, and a father. I enjoy staying active through padel and bootcamp training, and I appreciate anything that combines performance, reliability, and a bit of fun, which is one of the reasons the Explorer ST caught my attention.

I'm here to learn, share experiences, and hopefully contribute to the community as I get to know the Explorer better. If you have any tips, recommended upgrades, maintenance advice, or things every new ST owner should know, I'd love to hear them.

Thanks for having me, and I look forward to being part of the community!

2025 Explorer ST
Hi. I'm Kevin from Virginia. I just bought two 2025 ST in the past week. One is Star white with 20k miles & the other is grey with 7k. The white one has more options like back door manual shades & electric steering column. It seems like they keep taking more & more options away the newer the car & still charge you the same price. Hell the 2026 don't even have an opening sunroof roof on them. They just have a solid fixed in place piece of glass. Dealership asked me why don't I get two 2026s? I asked do you have any with no sunroof at all because I don't want a piece of glass that doesn't do anything. They said no. I said ok I will take the 2025s. They actually charge more on the sun & sound package in 2026 for a solid piece of glass then they did in 2025 for a functioning sunroof. I don't get it. Taking away the nice options & charging the same amount. Plus you get a better warranty on used 2025. You get the Ford gold warranty which is 84 months or 100k miles on the power train. You get something like 24 month bumper to bumper coverage too. I think I did ok on them. I would post pics but let's be honest we all have the same ones with the same colors. LOL. The reason I bought these two is because I had a beautifully spec'd Mercedes E63S AMG. I was rear-ended by an illegal at a red light on 5/15 & it totalled my car. I looked around for another one that was well spec'd & W213 for about a month but there was just crap on the used car market. They quit making E63S AMGs in 2023. I'll never understand why. My girlfriend wanted another Explorer so I said ok I'll buy you an ST. I found that star white one. Bought that. Meanwhile I was still looking for another E63S. A few more days went by & just nothing on the market for E63S. I drove her Explorer ST a few times & I was like I guess this isn't a bad car. I seen the aftermarket performance parts market on the ST & was ehh I guess I can do one of these up. So I went back a few days later & bought the grey one. I will find another E63S AMG one day that I like again. It's just going to take some time. Well that's my story on how I got here.

@2025 ST x 2 :
__Welcome Aboard!!

__You pretty well summed up our collective frustrations with FORD on how they are dumbing down and marketing the ST (My selling dealer considers them to be "Trucks" and not SUV's). Anyway, mine is a 2025 which came without the 2nd row shades and the electronic steering column because it was a "Job 2" build after sometime around Thanksgiving in 2024. At least I got a spare tire (donut no less) where some got aerosol cans.

__As for pics, most of us like to see your improvements and upgrades or maybe that unique exterior color that is very rare or maybe only made for one year.

__Once again, welcome aboard; I think you will enjoy your time here
