Is Global Windows open/close not an option in these year models? 2022 explorer limited. If so is there a spreadsheet for it?

Just thought I'd update this thread by stating I've refreshed the 2020+ Explorer FORScan spreasheet to include the years the changes would work with.

Nightshade,

Thank you for what you do and you experience. With further searching I was able to find an answer to my question on another forum. I want to respectful to you and this forum so I will not post it here unless I was granted permission. Also, it's not mine.

You’re welcome! It’s perfectly fine. I will be updating the 2020-2024 Explorer spreadsheet next week, global windows open/close will be added to it along with a few more changes.

Nightshade,

I thank you for your work, helping us modify our Explorer.
I have an Explorer Platinum and I’ve seen talks about Glare Free/Matrix lighting for Ford vehicles equipped with projector head beams/adaptive headlamps. Especially for the F150, there were forscan codes to enable it.
if it’s not too much to ask, is possible that you can look into seeing if we can enable the glare free free lighting in your next spreadsheet release. I read that it’s toggled off out of the factory but it’s toggled on in vehicles outside of the US. This was due to Matrix/Glare Free lighting not being legal at that time, but it’s legal in the US now. I would greatly appreciate it.

Glad to be of help! You are correct however I can definitely look into this for you. But please be aware, Glare-free feature was removed/deleted for the 2024+ F-150s. If your Explorer Platinum is 2020-2024 years, there is a high chance it will work once I can look into the values?

@BrooseDaMoose is correct. You can change it on 2025+ Explorers but for 2020-2024, you can’t. This is because the stalk being used in these models is outdated and there’s no values to change for it.

2021+ F-150s you can change the number of turn signals because of the updated stalk.
That's a bummer. Just came to this thread to look specifically for this feature.

The previous gen Explorers will allow this, so curious why Ford would take a step backwards on the turn signal stalk in the 20-24's.

--------

Another feature I am looking for. Is it possible to have the white DRL bar enabled while in Park (with engine running) for the '20-24's?

I honestly have no idea, why Ford does what they do, is always unexpected like removing features on newer years too.

White DRL enabled while in park, only thing you can do this is via Mode 2 (marker mode) on headlight knob. Mode 3 (auto) during the day, will shut it off and during the night, will remain with low beams on.
