Well my vanity got the best of me. I loved everything about the Atturo AZ850’s except the tread width. They run narrow and I wasn’t a fan. They performed exceptionally well on our 4000+ mile road trip a couple of weeks ago and if they were wider, I would’ve kept them… but they aren’t so I pulled them off and threw on a set of Toyo Proxes Sport SUV summer tires in the same size. Tread width is over an inch wider and it’s very obvious. Gonna stick with these I think. View attachment 36327

So...I hate key holes. Always have. lol
A trick I found out with my last F150 is that you can move around the door handle covers to hide them. If you ever need the actual key the cover pops off in 2 seconds once you know how to do it. I grabbed a used rear handle off LKQ for $60 and my local body shop charged me $40 to spray it. All I had to do was swap out the chrome strip for our black one which is just double sided taped on. And now I’m happy...no more key hole. View attachment 1087

They just snap on. Pull the handle like you’re opening the door then start at the back, there’s a spot to get your fingers under it…then work it off.

Cleaned it up today for an audio show tomorrow but it’s also rolling 150K this weekend. Never would have thought I’d like a stupid minivan this much.

I had an Uber ride in a '21 ST with 215k-ish. Didn't pepper him with him questions, but said it had been really good, minor stuff and trans was starting to slip a little, but who knows how often he serviced it. It was bone stock, so that helps.

Nope. Just a plug kit and little compressor. When I ran the 305/35/22’s I would take an extra tire with me but now that I have a very common tire size I don’t do that anymore. Worst case I have a blowout and throw it on a rollback to a tire shop.

I thought it was the strut bearing so I swapped on a new one but that wasn’t it so today I ordered the Platinum parts. Super cheap at $64 per strut. Shocks were normal at $133 each. If it still handles well but rides a little smoother…I’ll take it. Now I wait on UPS.

Check your end links. I thought my struts were clanking and changed them out but that wasn’t the issue. The end links were the issue on my car. I changed those out and no more clanking.

They’re new as well as the strut bearing on that side.

Got the Waido splitter mounted today…finally got the parts back from PPF yesterday. I used 1/4” stainless bolts with nylock nuts and 1.25” stainless fender washers on both sides every 6”. No need to…just remove the under tray right behind the bumper and you can reach everything.

How are the Toyos treating you? Curious, any noticeable handling characteristics you notice with the Toyos that differ from the Atturos?

I really haven’t done anything but drive back-and-forth to work on them. No fun trips yet. Daily driving though they’re quiet, comfortable and haven’t done anything weird in rain or anything. I have no complaints.
