UNBROKEN, what's the meaning behind the name? I've read many of your posts, sorry if I missed it somewhere. Kind of fun watching you spend what appears to be unlimited cash on your ST so we can all see the possibilities!

It’s the first username I had on a forum damn near 20 years ago...maybe longer. I always said stock trucks were broken...so I fixed them and then they were unbroken. Made sense to my kid brain. lol

Gotta love how silver looks clean even when it’s dirty. Over a week and a 700mile road trip since the last trip to the detail shop. @Explorer_ST_Addicts on the Gram....send your pics.

Those wheels look nice. Very similar to the stock wheels on the Z06 I had.

Nice! Let me know how you make out removing the connection (the newer style orange connector) for the ECSS from your drivers side valve cover. PITA! A 90 degree pick is supposed to work but I had no luck with that; plus I don’t want to break off any of the three clips. I made a tool out of some coat hanger wire that I’ll try this weekend......UPR makes a great product, BTW.

Was your speedometer affected much with the wheel / tire change or is the circumference the same as stock? I suppose Forescan has the capability to adjust that?

It’s close enough I haven’t seen a difference even on GPS stuff.

I’m doing the catch can later today. Exhaust will follow along with the SPD downpipes.

So the million dollar questions become, a) how long did this take you, b) did fender panel gaps line up where they were supposed to when you were done, c) how many tools were required? I CAN wrench (have swapped motors and re-done suspension) if I need to, I just choose not to if the $/hr doesn't make it worth my time... I was always assuming I would need a pretty good mechanic to handle this for me but you make it look like an actually pretty easy job... i can even swap my front emblem while Ive got the grille off.

Took about 4 hours start to finish with a trip for a burger somewhere along the way. No crazy tools. 7, 8, 10 and 13mm sockets and a flathead screwdriver and you could do the whole thing. I used a fantastic write up sent to me by someone else. I have a digital copy if anyone needs it...it was invaluable. Shows every screw, bolt and plug for the whole thing with pictures.

UPR catch can done....and a solution for the orange tamper proof fitting everyone fights. Take a thin flathead and break that orange bastard out of there...just destroy it...you don’t need it. Then take the short hose with the blue connectors, clip the side like in the pic here and slip the blue part out...it then slides right in where the orange one was. Done in 5 minutes. 0FBE40C0-15D5-4023-A0E0-67F333FB7E31.jpeg 18C73ABA-5370-4B69-B940-5FBFC621E34F.jpeg 437A639A-8FDF-40E4-A381-8393AD9AA97B.jpeg 705C5EB9-5E91-45AA-A3BA-CEFF3AA80CEE.jpeg C8BC37FB-1B7F-43A4-8854-74E054252DFF.jpeg
